Yeah when he’s on he shits on balls. If he can pop a couple out in SEC play that’s more advantageous in the long run than hitting back side singles like Curiel. Just was expecting a more balanced approach and that’s obviously not the plan for him here.

Was supposed to spray the ball to all fields. Not dogging on him, just making an observation that we haven’t seen that from him yet. It’s all pull and popups so far. I’m curious if he’s being asked to be more of a power hitter in this lineup and this is the result.

That looks like a potential anomaly. Not saying it didn’t happen, just relative to the rest of the data set it’s possible it’s an incorrect reading.
