Also just want to mention.....Whatever bullshite "penalty" the toothless NCAA would have hit the program with would've been complete by now & the teams record in that window would've been virtually the same! So maybe just maybe Woodward should've just let it play out, stuck with Wade! If he had there would be some excitement about the program instead the fanbase is apathetic & that's somewhere you never want your program to be! FANS JUST DON'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE! The administration & coach McNugget did that to this once competitive & fun to watch basketball program! It's disgusting to see honestly! :rolleyes: :confused: :angry:

We've reached the absolute rock bottom! We're at apathy with the fanbase! And because the administration let it get this bad, the next guy up is gonna have a tough time getting the fans support and/or patience! They've set the expectations for the program so low that no one really even cares anymore at this point!

You're right he is never coming back! That doesn't change the fact that if we're gonna be honest the admin should've stood behind him because whatever the NCAA was gonna do would've been over by now, the records probably would've been about the same as they've been with McNugget & you would've had the fans completely on board,bought in,with energy in the PMAC supporting our coach with a whole us against the world vibe! But it is over and will never be! But can we atleast get McNugget out of here and get someone that shows the fan base growth,coaching,excitement!

They most definitely were fully aware! How do I know this because Cone has been alluding to something going on with Moore at Michigan for months on the Crain & company podcast! They even acknowledged this when this news dropped! So if a former player on a podcast knew the admin surely knew or at the very least had heard whispers of this and would've looked into it! So they can claim they didn't "know" which might be technically correct they 100% had heard the suspicions/whispers!

Dude you obviously do not understand the nature of LSU football! I'm not being a dick or trolling & being from a state with multiple big time College Football programs I don't expect you would but kids grow up in Louisiana dreaming about running out that tunnel, of playing Florida,Bama,Auburn,Georgia in a close game late in the 4th Qtr on a Saturday night with the Band playing Neck & the student section hollaring STTDB! Throw the NiL commitment on top of that & it almost doesn't even matter who the coach is they wanna come & be a part of that & have had family & friends gassing them up on that their whole lives. So while a few may go out of state the majority are Tigers & gonna be Tigers til they die! That's a hard thing to brake kids out of for other teams! I'm just saying as someone who grew up here & has lived in Baton Rouge all 45yrs of my life!

Due to the changes about to happen in NIL Ole Miss won't be able to spend & buy rosters like they have been since they'll know have to show that it's an actual legit endorsement deal! Lsu has laid the groundwork ahead of the changes for this with the partnerships the collective has in place with companies who want to partner with the LSU brand! They showed this to Lane and he realized what this means for both programs!

Yes taking Queen after trading away an unprotected lottery pick is risky but come on let's be honest draft picks are not locks/can't misses! Look no further than Zion for an example! Today the Derik Queen selection looks like a steal if he continues to develop and stays healthy they got a franchise player you can build around. Throw fears in the mix, who is great with the handle and can get to the cup & create his own shot he just needs to work on his 3pt shooting. If they continue to build this roster around those 2 this team could be something in 3-5yrs!

Kiffin is a fine HC a great offensive play caller however he has a knack for losing a game every season that his teams absolutely should not lose! So in my opinion you're setting yourself uo to have to pay another massive buy out in 4 or 5yrs because let's face it this fan base is spoiled! It's Natty or bust here because of all the winning of the past 30yrs. And the fans will get restless again even with Kiffin as HC if he's not winning the natty in 3 or 4yrs! Sure if he's hired I will cheer for him etc but if you look at this objectively you'll see I'm stating facts!
