You never know how a small school kid will perform on a bigger stage. This is part of it. But we have so many areas where we are playing poorly that there isn't a single reason. Cumulatively, we are not good enough this year. Luck is part of baseball, and ours has been bad so far this year. Can still be good in June. Time will tell.
Hate this news. She could get a natty here with a little patience.

Agree. Have seen this firsthand. I am an investor, heavy in new residential. I have been competing with them for several years now. It is impossible to beat them on price. They are offering over $20k to lower buyer out of pocket money. Fortunately, you can beat their quality, but they absolutely get sales that affect their competitors. My profits are lower anywhere I am competing with them.

How so? I bought a lakehouse with cash. Doesn't bother me one bit to know that I might have better returns by putting less money into it and keeping the difference invested. In my younger years, this would have been a more difficult decision. Now that I am much more comfortable financially, I don't worry about maximizing profit. I have enough.
