Not OP, but yes us people who have lived in Nashville since before it was so hot are actually upset at the skyrocketing real estate prices. Wages haven't gone up accordingly. My wife and I are expecting another child later this year and we can't afford to buy a bigger house in Nashville in a decent neighborhood. Even moving 30-60 minutes out of town costs 3x what it would have cost 10 years ago in the city.

Nashville native here. You are all spot on. My city has been taken over and run into the ground over the past 7 years or so. It’s painful to witness firsthand.

First of all, I'll listen to their argument that sex and gender are somehow different when I hear an explanation that makes "gender identity" sound like anything different than personality.
Second, if a skinny person is convinced that they are fat and develop an eating disorder we all agree that the person in question has something wrong mentally. Why is that any different for someone that has a penis who is convinced that they are a woman?

I think there's a good chance Hillary ends up with the Dem nomination if she actually goes after it. I don't think they have anyone else with enough of a following.

I've told 4 people. My wife and 3 of my closest friends who are all mostly apolitical but married to lefties, in the hope of opening their minds a little. I won't tell anyone else. My wife is on board at least after me constantly showing her the lunacy that is the modern left. We're currently on a kick of watching Steven Crowder videos together.
The guy I work with still has a Hillary sign in his yard and bitches about Trump supporters constantly...so I'm not gonna open that can of worms in the workplace.

I've been wondering this too. It's not just comedy either, everything is so saturated with PC culture and identity politics that it's difficult to watch anything made recently. I have a young son and have taken to collecting older movies and shows so I can hopefully have enough variety to keep him away from most of that garbage when he gets old enough.
