re: Will Wade screwed Will Wade

I’m glad to see another coach. Offense not consistent since Tremont Waters.
Why don’t we have an integrated team ? LSU players on the court are all one color. So many of the Top 10 & Top 25 teams are integrated. Why can J. Howard recruit very good players of all races and colors and W. Wade cannot ?

I miss Sid Crocker & the rest. I couldn't believe when Pete broke the scoring record, & the game stopped, "The Old Beachcomber walked out on court & did the interview. It was funny...
Misleading statement, well ok. There was no Champ. game at that time. Clemson was rated #11 or # 12.
Last AP poll ? ,ok, If you were around then, you know there were lesser known polls. Tiger Fans should not tout the AP Poll, the same poll that voted USC Nat'l. Champs the same year that Nick Saban led LSU to the Nat'l. Champ..
Calm down & root for Jeaux Burreaux...
How could it be "HISTORY" if it hasn't happened yet ?
I know that, but if you check there was one final poll...
OR, Were you just trying to be a "party pooper" ?
Also, some media outlets felt that LSU needed to win to be a legitimate Nat'l. Champ. (see below):

Clemson head coach Frank Howard stands with members of his team during practice for the 1959 Sugar Bowl. The 12th ranked Clemson Tigers played top ranked LSU in the 1959 Sugar Bowl on January, 1, 1959 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. LSU won the game 7-0 to claim their first national championship.

Who remembers ? LSU Tigers vs. Clemson Tigers already played when LSU needed to beat Clemson for Nat'l. Champ. Who passes for the TD ?
Location was NOLA. 1959 Sugar Bowl. Great Runner completes 9 yd. pass for TD (Billy Cannon to Mickey Mangham late in 3rd. qtr. for only score of game. Final--Tigers 7 & Tigers 0...
What 12 y.o. was there...? me :geauxtigers: :nana:
Watch Liberty game on, 12/29, & tell us how far down we are. :violin:

You can blame Aleeva because he rejected Tony Bennet for the LSU job

Exactly. Unless there is someone on the bench who can play point guard, we have none. When Coach Wade knew that Tremont W. was gone it was his job to get a point guard. Moreover, the best 5 players don't always make the best starting 5. Anyone remember 6th. man, Willie Sims.

How is recruiting going on Balsa Koprivica and some of the rest?
Where do I see the post of selections of the person who won the Masters contest?
Would you kindly advise who holds the puppet’s strings and is directing these bad decisions ?

Absolutely no difference stat wise.

Just a few different faces roaming the sidelines.

Tier 1-Rory & Molinari
Tier 2–Lefty & Kisner
Tier 3–Willet & Cink
Tier 4–Kizzire
Even though Wade put together a good team and got T. Waters here, don’t forget what coach THAT Aleeva rejected 7 years ago. Whom ? The coach that just won 35 games and the Final 4, Tony Bennett.
Does Aleeva even remember rejecting him? How could LSU hire someone of such poor character (Duke) and poor judgement (Tony Bennett rejection) ???
Aleeva didn't want to hire Tony Bennett, hired Johnny Jones instead. So VA hired him & last 6 yrs.:
30+ wins 3 times with other 3 seasons resulting in 23, 27, & 29 wins. I am no Aleeva fan.

Well, Alleva just favors strippers over lacrosse :banghead: :dope:

I'd like to see him out there throwing the ball.
If not given a chance here, Mike Leach at Wash. St.
would probably be an option for him. I wish someone like Leach was our offensive coordinator.
