I appreciate everything shared. This is a weird situation and I rushed into something with someone from my past who I thought would sort of ease things - I was wrong. I appreciate what you guys have said. Thanks

I appreciate the responses. Yes, I am 53 and this is the first post divorce relationship. Her youngest son suffers from severe anxiety and is under medical care and medication. She claims to have her ex husband around is a calming influence on both children. I understand this is a weird situation but her sister has done the same thing post her divorce and has just now introduced her boyfriend of two years to the family.

This unfortunately is a real post and I am really having this issue. I recently got out of a 24 year marriage and moved too fast with a former high school sweetheart. Yeah, I made a mistake and feel stupid about it all

Posted by Gamecock1990 on 12/24/21 at 4:21 pm
My fiance has two children 14 and 16, I've never met them. As a matter of fact I've never met any of her family. I found out her ex husband will be at the Christmas eve family party tonight and the Christmas dinner will be at his house. I am not invited to either. She has custody but the kids live at his house, she stays with them all day until 10:00 at night until she comes over to spend the night with me. Am I stupid to stay?

re: Seeking advice on USDA loans vs. FHA
Posted by Gamecock1990 on 7/30/20 at 9:57 am to ellesssuuu
Thanks. I like the USDA package better than FHA. PMI is for the life of the loan - a minimum of 45,000 for nothing. One hell of a finders fee
Seeking advice on USDA loans vs. FHA

Have two separate lending options available FHA and USDA. just seeking general advice

I have found that developing a trusting relationship with God has resolved my issues relating to anxieties. Go about changing the way you look at the world around you, what you find to be important and view those things differently as God views us differently.

Malcolm X was a segregationist who sought assistance from the KKK to assist in establishment for black subsistence communities/country in the American South.

re: So, when will we be ready to discuss this topic
Posted by Gamecock1990 on 6/12/20 at 7:39 am to Breesus
The only reason I have raised this issue here is to promote a discussion of revisionist history. We have removed salient parts of history to push forward a political movement towards a communist society.
We should only look at the bolsheviks and cuban nationalist revolutions- the starting point for both were revisionist hustory.
By the way - the emancipation proclamation took force of law on January 1, 1863. Learn some basic history

I have never supported slavery - a person owning another person for life or for payment in full is atrocious. However, we cannot deny this evil existed until 1863 in the United States.
As we are now dealing with our slavery position, when will we include the Black slave masters of that same period? South Carolina alone had 180 Black slave owners followed by Louisiana and then so forth. Every slave owning state had Black slave owners until emancipation and the 13th amendment.
Where do these men fit into the discussion and retraction of history?
