Is there any scholarship sport at LSU which would tolerate 2 consecutive losing seasons? How about 4?

If you are talking conference records, Softball comes close.
Time would have expired even if we tipped it out of bounds.
All they had to do was "tip" the ball. Even if it would have gone out of bounds, time would have expired.

Has a team ever won a game with a long pass with 1.7 seconds? Even Lattner's shot had more time. He caught it, dribbled left, turned right and shot it. Maybe when the USSR beat USA in the 72 olympics?
Again, with 3 to 4 seconds, yes. (more of a line drive pass that can be "changed" by the defender)

With 1.7 seconds, NO. (A long looping pass that easily is thrown over the defender, making that defender worthless).

The only way they could have a pass to a "dribble and shoot" running player would be, at best, a half court shot.

Seriously, how much basketball you have watched? You try to disrupt the pass!!

I've probably coached, more than I've watched (on TV).
No, with only 1.7 seconds, the passer will throw a long pass. The passer will easily throw it over the "pass defenders" hands, so that person is worthless.

With 3 to 4 seconds, maybe, to disrupt a straight line pass.

With 3 or 4 seconds, maybe put someone on the passer, but with 1.7, there only chance is to catch and shoot immediately.

I've had it with his "woe is me" mentality. He has no business coaching at this level.

I wasn't a good coach either, but at least I stayed in the high school ranks coaching mostly girls. lol.

No confidence. Weak players who don't expect to win anything because they are losers.

Why put someone on the passer?

That is pathetic coaching. He's finished. He's a loser. Doesn't know anything about winning.
The best that could happen today was for the team to improve. There was no way they were going to win this game.

We have Kentucky at home then the schedule gets (IMO) a lot easier.

I don't want to spend unnecessary money on basketball.

You might have to do like me to make it through this season - Record the games and if they win, watch it. If not, delete the game.

Any LSU commits playing? Seems like it is just USC commits playing in this game.

Where the hell is "official_Kenn3" when you need him?
Weren't you the one who told me:

"There is NO report anywhere that Lacy is staying at Ole Miss"

I gave you are report.

You said,"Oh, the Ole Miss insiders are always wrong"

Two hours later. Lacy is officially staying.

Keep dreaming that what is happening tonight is good for Lane or Lsu.
