The first year my daughter played club soccer, we played a team from ATL that was a couple divisions higher than us. They were up 3-0 like 10 minutes in. After that, their coach said they couldn’t shoot unless they met 2 conditions. Every player had to touch the ball 1-11 starting with the keeper, and no one got more than two touches. They had to reset back to the keeper if anyone got more than two touches or anyone got a touch after giving up the ball. Then the shooter had to shoot with their off foot. They scored 5 more goals and we lost 8-0. It was unreal.

Dude played every minute and was the best player on the court. I dont follow bball recruiting enough to know how he was ranked, but that guy is amazing. Deserving of any and all accolades he receives.

It is hilarious how you guys are melting over the fact that a player played this poorly. How has you self esteem become so connected to this? It is pretty much an LSU fan tradition to milk pro players from other teams, especially if they are from Alabama. It’s kind of the epitome of you can dish it out, but you can’t take it syndrome.

That wasn’t really the question.
I’ll concede that the situation is “different.” But it’s a difficult leg to stand on for the NCAA and fans saying playing in a foreign pro league is allowed, but not the G league. I didn’t like when the Baylor player was able to come back midseason, and I’m not thrilled at the precedent with Bediako either. Bama played Illinois earlier in the season, and they had like 5 Eastern European former pros on their roster that were all like 23+. It’s all gross.
