The filibuster may not make sense to you, but until it is removed as a tool for the minority to impede any legislation without securing 60 votes, it will be used to block any legislation passed by the House.

Regardless of whether it’s federal or state funding, it’s totally unnecessary. I don’t understand why government is even doing this, especially in Texas let alone anywhere else. I would have no problem whatsoever if Iran’s government funded mosques and other Islamic institutions in their country, but for any federal, state, or local funding for the same in the United States is abhorrent.

The car would be moving at 2.93 ft/s. So less than 2 seconds to get out of the way. But if the car is accelerating, less time than that. If you slip and fall, you’re dead.

Is it a tragedy? Yes. But he acted properly. She didn’t.

Why have any limitations at all on college? As long as they are taking classes, let them continue to play any sport regardless of how old they are or how many years they have played. They can play until they are cut. I’m alright with that. CFB is already so broken, what difference does it really make?

Better experience? How about start with the basics such as cleaning your restaurant behind the counter, where people eat, and of course the restrooms. I know a lot of people don’t like to eat fast food, but for crying out loud, for those that do keep the place clean. We know the food is not good, but let’s have top notch ambience for customers.
