Any rational person would maybe give a reason or 2 why they (wrongly) think LSU will not have a star player next year.
Put it out there hot shot.
Simple: He has shown what he has. The NFL wants it. Get paid. In my humble opinion, Jaden is a fantastic team player and leader but doesn't have what it takes (yet) to bring the best out of our VERY talented WR room. The other 2 have the arms for it.
If he leaves, it is RS Soph Nuss & RS Fresh Howard. If Nuss wins, Howard will probably wait a yr to transfer. If Howard wins, Nuss will transfer and Ricki is on deck.
quote:

This is being said as though Nussmeier has something to offer. Daniels isn't my top pick for QB1, but Nussmeier doesn't bring anything to the table. He has looked awful in every opportunity.

Nuss: Just as athletic, better arm. Needs game experience and the confidence that he will play a full quarter or two. Absolutely should have played in second half vs Tenn.
Watch Ole Miss offense. Very creative. Very unpredictable. You never know where they are coming from.
LSU's? Not so much. I am on the Nuss Bus.
quote:

For depth I hope it’s Nuss. I could see Nuss transferring if Daniels gets the nod

Negative ghost rider. It would be smart to stick it out this year. Daniels could get hurt or not be effective. Or he stays and doesn't play and redshirts. Either he beats Howard next year or he has plenty of time to transfer and develop somewhere else.
He (or someone close) is getting blown up by schools that will guarantee that he will start. Pick the best opportunity to shine and get drafted. Best wishes to him!!

GFY and culottes too

You put a lot of thought into that. Said no one ever. I am so (not) impressed with your clever comeback. No game.
It has been a Gannett publication since the Manships sold out many years ago. Same with NOLA.com
All liberal rags with little local imput/interest/loyalty.
Short Term: Alleva & F. King. - the mismanagement can and will be overcome and forgotten by new AD and president.

Long Term: Miles - The damage to the LSU Football brand by this grass eating, no offense, shitty management of players talents and double standards goober will be with us for awhile. The 2011 NC game was a joke. After replacing Jarrett Lee (8-0) with JJ. THEN when JJ was stinking up the field during the NC game, Miles didn't even look Jarrett's way and give him a chance. The team quit on him and it was more than obvious.
Flame throwing, fair weathered "fan".
Tradition means nothing to you. National attendance record year in, year out. 8 former LSU players on opening day rosters. All the late season runs LSU Baseball has pulled out over the years. Sheesh!!
Do us all a favor and don't start any more threads. You are terrible at it.
My scenario is that Brennan starts 2021 is successful. Then he starts in 2022 or transfers as a graduate because Johnson is comin' and starts two years starting 2022 midseason. TJ and Nuss are odd men out and get skipped over. Then Howard will sit the bench as a freshman (while Johnson starts) then plays 2-3 years as starter.
Mangle? In the middle of a pandemic? With new DC and PGC? Herman, Fisher (our “ 1st choices”) haven’t done shite. :wah:

I thought he had experienced quarterbacks? Oh, wait, he did and they transferred.
Replacing DC and passing game coordinator, installing their vision without spring practice and summer player directed workouts has been key.
We lost everyone last year and Chase opted out.
Brennan has performed better than most expected. He just needed more game reps. Played 3 quarters with a torn stomach muscle. Get off his arse.
O has NOT lost his fire. O is STILL recruiting like a beast.
You whiners sound like a bunch of Gumps.

You are wrong

And seems to be a better person than he is a football player.
Agreed. I have been going to the fall Talladega race for years. And every year there are less people, less campsites filled. The infield is getting more low rent and nasty. I won’t be back this year.

TJ starts by game 4. Max replaces him by Game 9

You have absolutely no clue, are a flamer or are about 11 years old. STFU
quote:

My only real concerns for Brennan are pocket presence and experience .

With experience comes pocket presence. When I look at his highlight film in mop up roles this year he appears to follow proper reads, makes the throws and had a few good runs/ scrambles. Following any legend (Burrow, Brees, Brady, etc) is a thankless task. I think he will do fine come SEC TIME of the schedule.

Not anything physical holding him back. He’s just pussy whipped

Takes one to know one. Bitch.
The sky is falling.
Coach O knows nothing.
The end is near,

Rantards are swarming.

Yes confusing Little Joe just after the snap is the key for our defense - that and not giving up big plays. We won't stop your offense, but we will slow down your scoring enough for our offense to outscore you. That's the other thing - I don't think that y'all can stop our offense either. So it's going to come down to efficiency and maybe turnovers.

Confuse little Joe? You mean Heisman winner Joe Burreaux? Record setting Joe? Many have tried, all have failed. This offense will adjust.
Stop big plays? Not gonna happen. Too many weapons.
Out score LSU by slowing them down? That is Clemson’s objective. Nobody has done it yet. Not gonna happen on the 13th.
Can’t stop your offense? Don’t need to, but we will stop them enough to beat ya by 3 TD’s.
Both teams will be amped up and rearing to go. I hope LSU doesn't get too amped and get called for targeting. That could be a game changer.

How cool would that be?

Wow! Stupidest idea for a thread in quite a while.

quote:

They believe they can run for over 200 yds easily because of ole piss tape and Lawrence/Ettienne

Put down the crack pipe and back away slowly. No freakin' way they get 200 yards on the ground....among all of them.

I believe that this thread has officially been beaten to death.
Nothing more to say.
Dabo has Clemson on one hell of a run. Enjoy it because you have earned it. LSU is also on one hell of a MOTHERF++ing run and your tigers are not going to be able to stop our offence.
Period

Y'all needed help from the referees to beat OU.
LSU strength of schedule has prepared them to be on the biggest stage, with motivated, focused players.
Hippie boy QB gets a lesson in Bayou beatdowns.
There isn't enough substitutions or scheming to cover LSU's weapons.
You are kidding yourself. This game will get out of hand in the 3rd quarter.
Didn’t ask for them in the sham house investigation, frick him
The libtards in Californication sound racist and un-tolerant? How can that be?
