Cleveland's font is a combination of different rock n roll bands fonts.

Cause of the rock n roll hall of fame being there.
Clippers had to give up everything because they were in a bidding war with Toronto. Whoever got George, got Kawhi. So the trade was essentially for two players.
Fans don’t want to see one dominant team created by some “team up” situation. Clippers situation is different because it creates an equal to other teams.

or have a franchise tag?

Issue with the franchise tag is that an NFL 1st rounder carries more weight. An NBA team losing 2 or 3 or even 4 1st rounders would do nothing in terms of making them think twice about pulling a star player.

Why would y’all want him? Can’t shoot 3s or space the floor. What’s the point of Jah then at this point. Might as well just get rid of him

He's a really good defender who is fine on a switch against a wing. He's just a solid basketball player. All Warriors fans and reporters want him back.

They're in the east. I don't think the odds are as bad we think they are.

If you're on Zion level, you get multiple places.

1. Near facility
2. Uptown near Drew
3. Quarter near Kamara

7 of the stars were pick 4 or 5. 19 were 1-3.

23% chance at 4/5, 42% from 1-3. You're right, but a 23% success rate is still double the hit rate from 6-10.

Love the info. Thanks NotCoop!

I'd be interested in seeing the outcome by pick. I'd imagine the top 3 gobble up the majority of the stars.

Some people have no idea what BS they’re spewing out. Garland was always a top 5 prospect even after the injury. He was a top 5 prospect going into college. He didn’t suddenly come out of nowhere. People didn’t talk about him much due to his injury early on but have always acknowledged him as an elite prospect. The only difference now is the media is slowly aligning their boards with real nba draft boards.

Here's links to the prospect rankings for rivals, 247 sports and espn

Rivals #17 prospect: LINK

247 #14 prospect: LINK

Like I said, he wasn't a superstar prospect, and I wonder how someone plays 5 games and jumps boards. He must be showing out in workouts.

The oddity is Garland wasn't a superstar prospect. He wasn't top 10 on most boards I believe. There's a part of me that wonders if his small sample size isn't actually propping up his draft stock.

If we take him or don't take him, I've been pretty impressed with the front office in the way they've gone about their shite. So I'm good with whatever they do.

Meh. Pass. The Nets pick is lottery protected for 3 years and then becomes 2nds. No real value there.

One of the factors is how the board is stacked. If there's a minimal distance between 4 and 8, it's a no brainer.

The case against Hunter is he’s really limited offensively. He comes from damn near the slowest pace in ncaa to a team who will want to run in the nba. His handle isn’t what it needs to be, and in a ncaa tournament game, UVA had him on the bench.

Given our current team structure, we need scoring, not more guys whose strengths are defense.

That would be the case against Hunter.

The threes aren’t the huge issue. It’s the free throws

We don’t need to force anything for a defensive big. Can sign one in free agency or in a year or two. We will want to space the floor and let these guys run.

If this is true, this is an enormous f up by the Lakers.

The clearest way this trade works out for Lakers in the end is if they pull Kawhi or Kyrie alongside AD because it would damn near guarantee the picks don’t turn into anything. Without max cap space, that’s unlikely.

And also high school kids will be able to be drafted starting 2021 which will enrich the draft pool for these future lakers picks we’ll own

Even better for us. Silver said, a week or so ago, the first year that can happen is 2022.

Not to be negative and it might be because the Pels haven’t had a first round pick in ages...but how often do mid to late first round draft picks make a big impact on a team?

Rarely. But we have enough for rarely to hit at this point. Also, and this is key -- the Lakers front office may be in over their head. Which means those picks may not be as bad as most think they'll be.
WTF are the lakers doing. They could have waited a single season.

The swaps and picks years from now are just free rolls of the dice. We lose nothing

It’s a bit strange that Ramona is the only person that has given any info on this.

It's not just Ramona anymore. It's Chris Mannix + Brian Windhorst
quote:

It can also "work" with Boston having a solid season, then flaming out in round 1 or 2 of the playoffs, AD walks, Celtics are left with very little from all those assets they had.

Of course. That's the risk. It's that versus you have a Kyrie/AD pairing for the next five years.
quote:

I've been saying literally this, almost word for word, on this board since the Celtics season ended so badly, particularly with Kyrie.

Celtics can then just trade AD at the deadline if it doesn't work.
quote:

We still thinking a deal gets done by early next week?

If it's not done by end of draft night, it likely means there's no bidding war. So we're hoping for sometime in next 10 days.
His contract is too big. He's not even a consideration.

If he doesn’t get a solid deal, Griffin will drag this out.

And Smart. There’s nothing that says he has to be part of deal.

Would you rather LA, NY or following Celtics deal?

Tatum
Memphis pick
Horford
Tatum isn’t the type of star you hold onto no matter what. He had disappearing acts. Boston will put together an offer that essentially swaps Tatum for AD. And if it doesn’t work out, they can trade him at next trade deadline
Highly doubtful Ball isn't the player getting moved to a third team. Between shooting and the Pelicans being in a situation where they're standing up the franchise essentially, they won't want anything to do with Dad.
Sucks for Lonzo, but it is what it is.
