I will just say one thing....dont frick with Lee Mallet...you can see what happened when Woody decided to frick with him. Lee wants wade back. draw your own conclusions.

Gonna have to make Wade tell you no if that's the case, which he very well may do being that he is at a school that appreciates basketball.

It's just odd. He's not old and at one time seemed to be a truly elite coach.

His drop off almost doesn't make sense.

He adamantly refused to adapt to the changing landscape of CFB. He brought it on himself.

Is it reasonable to say he's made one of the greatest program turnarounds in history?

It's up there right now. If IU wins it all, it will be THE greatest turnaround.
The day BK was canned, this was the first place I came. Has been glorious.
I think they will, just because it's basketball. Lower profile sport, not as much importance in getting in front of the field like in football. Let him go 6-12 in conference and dismiss him after the SEC tournament.

Sad state for the program. I was in school at its pinnacle. My freshman year was 1989. Tons of great players and games with Jackson, Shaq, et. al. Camping out on the ramps of the PMAC to get student seats for games against Duke, UNLV. Awesome times. Glad I got to experience them. Sad that the kids today don't get to experience that level of excitement for the team.

With the money he has earned in his career, he can very easily retire as long as he didn’t piss it away.

I think LSU tailgating in general is a shell of it's former self.

This

LSU's reputation is living off its past, not present, experience. Tailgating sucks compared to the Saban and early Miles era. Has become far too commercial and less organic. LSU saw a way to capitalize on additional revenue streams by charging for parking and prime locations. In the process it greatly diminished the excitement of tailgating at LSU.
It was a lazy, easy hire for them at the time coming out of Harbaugh’d mess
It might be enough for 2026, but the needle is going to keep moving higher and higher.

Andrew Luck 2.0

Great talent playing behind crappy O-lines. Once you have a certain amount of money and your team is not committed to your well-being and success you have to question what shape do you want your body to be in 5, 10, 20 years.
If Coach think's he's worth the money, then do it. If not, get someone else. He knows a thing or two about quarterbacks.

Most thought of him as a solid defensive coach and thought he would do well here. A pretty universal thought was that LSU was just a springboard to the NFL. When he won the Natty in ‘03, people started to imagine he might want to settle down and stay here. Then Black Christmas 2004 struck….

Wow, this one tops it for me. Wants to play proctologist with Lane

Ole Miss Proctologist
He can come back to LSU in 6 years when Lane divorces us after 2 Nattys

Can they fix the atrocious drive home?
Can/should we chase him down at the airport, cuss him out, all while flipping him off?

AJ McCarron is irrelevant now.

If it wasn't for his MILF he never would have been relevant in the first place.
