“The Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office is conducting a "workplace culture" audit of the agency, following complaints raised by employees during her first few months in
Louisiana's environmental agency, hit by top-level resignations and fierce criticism of its new leader, will now undergo an independent audit of its "workplace culture," including asking employees if they are concerned about unethical behavior or have experienced workplace retaliation.
The Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office will carry out the review of the state Department of Environmental Quality, which is led by former Donald Trump administration official Aurelia Giacometto, appointed by Gov. Jeff Landry. The survey comes two months after several high-level DEQ employees left the agency after clashing with Giacometto during her first few weeks in office.”
This is a repeat of what happened at LDWF eight years ago under JBE. When reform was resisted JBE cut and ran on his own people. It will be interesting to see if Jeff Landry sticks by his people to force reform on an agency the civil servants oppose.

Don’t forget Lisa Woodruff-White who abruptly resigned 1 year into a 6 year term to avoid Judicial Commission punishment. And as a reward JBE appointed her to the Tax Commission.
I could not agree more. She needs to go away along time ago, but for some reason the state gives her credibility. Edwards gave her free rein of all state agencies.

I see that Chad Credeur has picked up three new charges in Jeff Davis Parish - simple escape, damage to property and assault of a correctional officer. He still has not been charged in the murders and has a $30k bond

He and the girl were living with Touchet. The girl was trying to break it off with him and she got the courage that night to leave him. Brandon assisted her with this and brought her wherever she went. Chad was not aware of this until Touchet returned from dropping her off and told him. They were in Beth’s apartment because Touchet wanted some support when he broke the news to Chad.

She left with the dog and the dog’s owner prior to the murders. Brandon returned without the dog or the girl. They were killed not long after his return.
Here we go— the self righteous are going to start victimizing the victim.
The Lafayette Police are the reason these people are dead. This suspect had a warrant for attempted murder and the Lafayette PD failed to arrest this man and put him in jail where he belonged

This guy is a loser all the way around. I had to deal with him in his BPD capacity and he is an a hole.
There has to be some kind of award that can be given to this poor dog for going above and beyond.
