He has a high ceiling and it definitely could pay off but he needs a lot of work.
Believe it or not he’s not actually a good shooter. He also can’t dribble and is not the highest iq player.

There’s no one I would do that for. None of those big names would stay here anyways. Give me zion on a rookie contract and even if we don’t win every game, he’s going to be fun to watch until we do.

So we should be wanting the lakers to make the playoffs next year only so we get that unprotected pick on the double draft.
It goes back to how is a starting lineup of ball/holiday/ingram/zion/okafor going to score you points. Garland has to be the long term play here.
If we had a starting 2 guard that could shoot then ball would be fine, but holiday and ball are not going to get you enough points in the starting lineup.

Ya Link is almost viewed as exempt from what I've gathered. Many people think highly of it and feel safe holding it when alts are getting crushed.

Uh no... I never said that. He does however give you a long term solution for the lack of shooting in the starting lineup. That's why I asked the question of what is the plan to address the shooting in the starting lineup if we dont draft someone like Garland.

Lol this is so true. I have a house in Bucktown and a lot of these houses don’t have master baths with dual sinks or a toilet detached in the master bath. I would not have bought the house I am in if it didn’t have those features.

If you dont draft Garland, where is the shooting going to come from?
We will be rolling out a starting lineup of:
Ball/Holiday/Ingram/Zion/Okafor as it currently stands, which has literally no shooting. I would expect Garland to move into that starting rotation over ball by playoff time at a minimum. I know we have shooters on the bench, but I'm curious to see how the starting lineup plays out if we dont go with a guy like garland. That starting lineup is a bit concerning to me as it currently stands.

In the second picture if barrett is 6'7 than reddish is 6'8 which would make zion 6'9 lol. Look at the hairlines
