My FIL landed at Pointe du Hoc with the 2nd Rangers, and climbed those cliffs. He also fought in 4 other major battles including Hedgerows and the Bulge. He revisited Omaha Beach on 50th anniversary and he did not discuss his experiences until about 2 weeks before he died. We were shocked at what he told us. We had no idea. He never saw the movie “Saving Private Ryan”.

It should be a great experience for you. Please post here after your visit.

Hugh is supposedly a smooth talker and knows how to say the right things to the deep pockets. He also plays some golf with them.

Those deep pockets have got to be concerned / confused about his play calling since he was known as an offensive wizard before coming to AU. We may have the worst offense in the conference. Also… we keep striking out on our portal QBs.
