Actually I'm very close with my immediate family thank you very much. Talk to my parents, sister and brother in law weekly.
I just prefer not to cause any extended family drama. All of my immediate family are Conservative but there are a few Liberal nuts in our extended family.

She only has herself to look at for why she won't break Margaret Court's record. If she had held off on the pregnancy for a few more years she would've broken Court's record easily.

Plus as you notice nowadays she tires out very easily in matches. She's never regained the conditioning or physical stamina she had before her pregnancy. Obviously it's understandable that you lose a step after a pregnancy but unless she can regain the conditioning and physical stamina that would allow to her to improve her foot work and movement she will never win another major. I would honestly put money down on that.

Based on the sham of "equal pay" for Men and Women in Tennis, especially after the Finals we saw at Wimbledon this weekend:

Anyone who is a tennis fan, anyone who plays and/or watches tennis can see how much cr*p the fair pay argument is this weekend at Wimbledon. Serena Williams and Simona Halep barely played an hour in a Women's Final that seemed more like a glorified exhibition. Meanwhile in the Men's Final Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are competing in one of the greatest Men's Finals of all time. They have been playing for over 5 hours now!
Yet at the end of the day due to feminists and "equal pay" the men will get the same pay as the women, despite the fact that they played 4 hours longer and were physically EXHAUSTED after their match whereas the women barely broke a sweat!!
If this was the other way around and the men played a quick 2 out of 3 for their final and the women played a grueling 3 out of 5 for their final for the same pay all the feminists out there would be screaming bloody murder! Yet where are you feminists now, no surprise, you're nowhere to be found. You're silent which is complete hypocrisy!!
These Finals at Wimbledon show why the Men should be paid MORE than the Women, at least at Grand Slam tournaments. How would you like it if you and a co-worker were both given projects, yours take 2 60 hour weeks and theirs takes 1 regular 40 hour week, and you were both paid the same? I'm guessing you would be pretty mad and you would have a right to be mad.
How can anyone justify the Women getting paid more than the Men when the Women were out there for not even an hour and the Men were playing for over 5 hours!! There is no argument against that.
As far as I'm concerned Serena Williams and Simona Halep should give up some of their prize money to Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic simply out of respect for how much harder they had to work for the money. That would be the right thing to do.
Simply put, Men should be paid more than Women at Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments until the Women finally pull their fair share and play the best 3 out of 5. I'm not anti-woman, I'm not sexist, once Women play best 3 out of 5 then the Women should absolutely be paid as much as the Men, but not before that.
I'm sorry again if this offends anyone but this just really p*sses me off and if it does offend anyone I would argue you need to grow thicker skin. The whole last month we've heard about equal pay for the women's soccer team but when it comes to true equal pay between men's and women's tennis everyone is silent. I welcome anyone to challenge me on any of this. As far as I'm concerned there is no debate on this and no legitimate challenge but you're welcomed to try.

Same here, I hope she never wins another Major again and is angry every night knowing she never broke Margaret Court's record. Luckily I don't think she will, she doesn't have the foot work or movement to win a Major anymore. She used to be able to just overpower her opponent but she can't do that to the top women at this point.

Ssubba I hate it because it's hypocritical. Switch the scenarios and the feminist women would be going absolutely insane if the women got the same pay as men for MORE work. I feel so bad for Roger Federer, puts all he has into a grueling five sets and gets paid the same as Serena Williams who essentially just mailed it in.
Serena Williams should get at best half the money Roger Federer is going to get due to this but due to feminists they'll get paid the same. In essence Serena gets paid fair more per hour than Roger and that's sad.

Exactly baldona! The men's game is by far the more popular game outside of the U.S. Hardly anyone outside the U.S. watches the women's game. Go to some of the stand alone WTA tournaments, there is barely anyone there!!!
TV ratings and the amount tv providers can charge advertisers for men's tennis coverage dwarfs what they can charge for women's tennis coverage. That's been proven time and time again.
I bet if you asked most men's tennis players off the record they would admit they think the setup in the Majors is BS. They just won't say it because they know they'll be attacked by the feminist media.
But like you said Baldona the only way it's ever going to change is for Men to go on strike at some point. Force the hand of the Majors, either pay Men more or force the Women to play best 3 of 5.

Actually I think men will quietly appreciate being paid appropriately for the work they do on the court.
The Men's players sadly can't come out and say it because the feminazis will be all over them and the stupid ATP would probably try to kick them off the tour. But make no doubt about it I'm sure there are plenty of Men on the ATP tour who dislike the fact that the women get paid the same for LESS work.

Yes time on court. I know you might not be that smart but it's not a hard concept to grasp. Again pay the player a certain amount per round per hour. Each round the per hour payment gets higher and longer matches will get paid more than quicker matches. This could also make tennis players play harder as they might not be as inclined to just throw the rest of the match if they are down 2 sets (which I've seen happen).
And there's these things called rules as well. You know, rules that could be enforced to prevent what say could happen?

Wrong, TV ratings for Men's Finals almost always dwarf TV ratings for Women's Finals. Watch, when the ratings come out for this weekend the Men's Finals will have at least double the TV ratings as the Women's Finals. That's where the money comes from.

If we really wanted to get technical yes I would be okay with the women getting paid more than the men if their match technically goes longer. As long as you're okay with the opposite and the fact that the majority of men's matches will be longer than the women's matches and therefore the men will get paid more. Are you okay with that?
