re: If Leavitt stays healthy this year

Not impressed with Leavitt. Maybe it's the surrounding cast or the current coach, but he's not a good QB at ASU. And that's with maybe the best WR in the nation at his disposable. He's a pretty good scrambler though...just not that good at throwing the ball.

If there's one thing Ole Miss is good at, it's rewriting history.

"No, we're not racist"

"We have TWO national championships"

"Hugh Freeze is a man of God"

"Lane Kiffin is a changed man, he's a Christian now"

"We didn't want Lane Kiffin, he's a bad person and Pete Golding is the reason for our success anyway"

"Pete Golding (who cusses profusely during press conferences) is a man of God"

I am shocked that State is struggling during the NIL era***

I think that anyone who has given even $1 to NIL is an absolute moron.

Do I like it when Arkansas wins? Yes. Is the quality of my life tied to it in any tangible way? Heck no. And anyone's who is needs to reprioritize.

I give plenty away. But it goes to the Tim Tebow foundation, St. Jude's, Salvation Army, Mercy Chefs, the national and international mission boards, my local church, etc. You know, stuff that actually matters because it helps people who are actually in need?
Aww, poor babies don't like a man that is faithful to his wife and raises his children to be good people. sad state of affairs.

I hate that saying. It's not true. Plenty of us have never been defeated by it and never will be. Just depends on your moral compass, worldview, and belief system. It's a cheap joke and a cop-out. Lame rant over.

A&M got hosed. Should have at least switched them with Ole Miss.

Miami and Alabama are jokes at this point.

2 G5s?

I realize there wasn't a lot to work with this year once you get past #4 or #5, but this is awful.
Well, you may be right. But maybe he would at least be debatable.

Carter, Obama, Biden, and GW Bush were all just awful.

Maybe we shouldn't listen to a dementia patient's ideas

I'm not one of those "Trump can do no wrong" conservatives (voted against him in both his primaries), but this is some next level stupid stuff right here.

Our last president LITERALLY had dementia, and we all knew it. Yet all the liberal mouth pieces, media, and your average mouth breathing idiot liberal voter tried to gaslight us for 4 solid years and tell us he was fit as a fiddle.

Now it's all out in the open that he was so mentally retarded that he couldn't even do his job so his wife and staffers were (illegally) doing it for him. So the lies and cover up have been exposed and fully acknowledged.

With all of that, now libtards think they can just gaslight everyone again by saying Trump has dementia? Nah. Go screw yourself bud. Not happening. At least come up with something original. Trump says dumb stuff, but he's done that since the 80s. He can say and do mind boggling things, but he's still better than any Democrat president of our lifetimes, outside of Bill Clinton.
Honestly, teams often end up playing harder for an interim than they did for the old coach. They band together with that "us against the world" attitude and it works. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run. I would have been surprised to see them make a run if it was just status quo.
7-5 next year, maybe 8-4.

Then back to 6-6 after that.
It's sad how much you crave attention.

I hate this line of thinking. If the people with that kind of money (or in control of that kind of money) think they're worth it, then they have every right to pay it. Those are big jobs with tons of responsibility and require a lifestyle that I would never want. Not many people can do those jobs well. If you think you can do it, go do it and make the big money. If not, then mind your business. It has no bearing on you or your life. None. They're playing at the high stakes table with billions on the line, and you're sitting at the $5 table complaining about it, even though it has nothing to do with you.
Agree. And I think you'll see less of the weird calls where he goes for it on 4th down and what not. I think he felt like he had to do stuff like that b/c he was dealing with talent limitations at Ole Miss.
If he does, he does. They'll find another coach. If he leaves of his own accord, they don't owe him the buyout. No harm, no foul. They needed to lose BK either way, so...what's the point here?
Who cares? Lane is still Lane. Who cares what any of us think?

LSU is better than they were 2 days ago, Ole Miss is worse. How much for each? We'll see. I'm not losing any sleep either way.
 The most successful football coach in your lifetime is gone! Yay!!!
Ole Miss pumping image over substance?! Color me shocked!!

 Maybe now that he's left that cult, he doesn't feel the need to be a pretender anymore.

Oxford worshipped the man for 6 years (5?, however many), and now that he left, he's scum and has always been scum. :rotflmao: How Ole Miss of them.

I feel confident that our athletic department is as good of a functioning machine as anyone in the country and our next coach should be set up for success and playoff runs once every 3 years or so.

I remember saying/thinking this after Petrino.

I remember MSU saying similar things when Mullen left.

Vanderbilt after Franklin.

Fact is, who you get next is all that matters (if Kiffin leaves, which I say he won't). And it's a crapshoot. EVERY. TIME.

Hey man, no need to take this so seriously. It's not that important.
