Clemson 2015? Although it took Dabo longer and they weren't as shitty of a program as IU
Yep. He's the best coach in CFB currently and it's not close
Terrible coaching and play call. Cignetti just stuffed him in a locker and Deboer exposed himself as a shitty coach

Bowling Green is the triple A team for Mizzou QBs. Bazelak, Pyne, and now Pribula will carry on the legacy in beautiful Bowling Green, Ohio

Rocco Marriott committed to UCF.

re: LSU gonna hire Drink

Posted by mouse_cop on 11/21/25 at 3:07 pm to
LSU can't afford Drinkwitz. Blake Baker or Barry Odom would be solid hires that are more in LSU's price range, since they are clearly set on hiring a former Mizzou coach

re: Pribula upgraded to questionable

OU is not a juggernaut. This is a very even matchup and Mizzou should win with average QB play. Avoid turnovers and Mizzou will win with Pribula or Zollers. Don't get yourself worked up

I somehow doubt that Cam Newton has much say in Auburn's coaching search. That'd be like A&M letting Johnny Manziel hire their football coach

Game was much closer than the final score. OU got lucky to escape with a win and the refs were on some bullshite that day

Some visitors this weekend, not sure if this is an extensive list. Interesting that a 2026 QB is taking an OV. As far as I can tell, Gavin Sidwar is not taking visits elsewhere, it would be surprising if we took 2 HS QBs wouldn't it?

I get that Penn State is a big program with plenty of fans and money, but to me it is a permanently tainted program. I can understand someone like Pribula being raised in PA and wanting to go there, but any player or coach from out of state states who chooses to go there is questionable. It's a pedo program and always will be

re: Mizzou will win this game....

It's winnable. But the most likely scenario is that we come out with a well designed opening drive and score, we all get our hopes up, and then the playcalling goes to shite for the rest of the game and A&M wins by 3 points in a low scoring game
Texas had a chance to deliver them a huge blow in week 1 and they blew it. Texas let the entire conference down
He's activating his super vision. You'll find out on Saturday. Aggie is fricked

Auburn is the better program historically and a bigger brand name. But in terms of job security, salary, and ability to compete in the SEC, they are equals programs for a head coach. Mizzou might actually have a slight edge because Auburn has tougher permanent opponents in conference play.
Extension is being announced after Mizzou beat A&M by 3 TDs this Saturday. Drink fixin to dominate the transfer portal this offseason

Wasn't there some shady NIL stuff going on at UNLV? His QB claimed to not be getting paid what he was promised. I don't blame him for jumping to Purdue, although I don't think he will be successful there. That is one of the toughest P4 jobs, and if he couldn't win at Mizzou...

Drink's still recruitin. He ain't going anywhere until at least the end of the season. Beat A&M, give him an extension, and let him poach all the teams with coaching turnover

re: Drink moving on up for LSU

Posted by mouse_cop on 10/31/25 at 5:52 pm to
Few days ago Drink was the heavy betting favorite for the Florida job. These companies are just making shite up and no one really gambles on who will be the next HC somewhere unless they have insider info. That's just lighting money on fire
Jury is still out on Deboer. He had a very short run at UW and was coaching players he didn't recruit. Similarly at Bama, he is still coaching Saban recruits. We don't know how he will fare with his own recruits, can he develop a competent QB? Without Saban's recruit at QB what is Bama's record right now? 4-3?
Is the ESPN app as bad as people say? I've read that it is not user friendly
Baylor shouldn't be any harder to win at than Texas Tech. Just get a good coach who can get boosters to buy in and pay up. It only takes a team of high 3/ low 4 stars to dominate the big 12, you don't need blue chip recruits.
I'm not a Florida fan and I view them as equal jobs. The only major advantage at LSU is getting to play 90% of your home games at night, which leads to a tougher environment.
I can't see him at LSU either. Florida or Penn State both seem like better fits. I hope he stays though, he could bring in a great portal class with all these coaching changes
They're all leaving in the offseason, half of them probably have handshake NIL deals with other schools already

re: Mizzou people...

Posted by mouse_cop on 10/27/25 at 4:28 pm to
Yeah App State gave him his first HC opportunity and he left for Mizzou after 1 season. He seems to have a good situation here, and leaving for a bigger program usually doesn't work out long term, but it would not shock me if he bolts for a bit more money and a bigger spotlight.

re: Should A&M be ranked #1?

Posted by mouse_cop on 10/27/25 at 12:28 pm to
Yes. It would help Mizzou out a lot to beat the #1 team in the country in a couple weeks. Beating #3 won't do as much for our playoff chances

Urban Meyer or Jon Gruden. Don't overthink it. Drink wouldn't leave for a lesser program
