Anyone know the child ticket admission policy? Didn't see it listed anywhere in the LHSAA manual or on the ticket page.

You stated that thriving communities are at risk because a border wall might go through a national park-fabrication

That national park is essentially an uninhabitable desert and has only 250 people living in it who are employees of the park service and their family.

He didn’t do a great job explaining, but he’s talking about places like Terlingua and Lajitas that would lose its appeal if the park and river had limited access.

The 11,000 crossings are in the Big Bend district. Not the park itself.

There’s a lot more at risk than this with unfettered illegal immigration.

I’m firmly against illegal immigration. I’ve also been to Big Bend, hiked Santa Elena, and waded in the Rio Grande Hot Springs. Border Patrol and park rangers are insanely active in these areas and there’s surveillance everywhere.

Pretty sure it’s manned 24/7 now. Just closed for crossing after 5pm

Coaches rank them. At least that’s how it’s been previously.

can anyone actually explain what this specifically entails?

Tiger Stadium has a DAS installed. It's been inoperable for a few years following the bankruptcy of the company managing the system. My assumption is ATT has agreed to renovate (or replace) the system in exchange for sponsorship rights.

Yes. St. Aloysius defeated SJV 34-21 and CHS defeated Mercy 40-33.

Both of these seem about right. Either of them attempt to make it a game?

After the airball "assist" + make, Coach McM takes a "lets feel good about things" timeout.

It’s intentional. Clock only stops after made basket in last minute. Ole Miss would let it run down to avoid a 3rd possession.
I’m all for it but I wonder if the Big East isn’t as motivated since they won’t pick up a new media market?

Don't most medium sized cities have an ice rink for kids to play?

Yeah but there still aren’t that many. I know a friend of mine lived in Austin and played rec hockey. His league games were at 11pm on Sundays because that was the only time available on the ice.

And this is a transplant metro of 2.5M people.

how many have you visited?

20

which are your favorites?

Grand Canyon (North Rim)
Glacier (Two Medicine)
Yellowstone (Lamar Valley)

what has been your favorite hike or activity?

Angels Landing - Zion
Buffalo watching in Lamar Valley - Yellowstone
Mount LeConte (full hike) - Great Smoky Mountain
Highline Trail - Glacier
Santa Elana Canyon - Big Bend

what parks are next on your list?

Yosemite, Olympic, North Cascades

quote:

what's the park you've visited that most people haven't?

Technically the least visited of my 20 is Virgin Islands NP. On the mainland it's Black Canyon.

I mean shorten the course for women such that the approach game and in is as close as you can get it.

No way to make it exact, but can get reasonably close.

The problem with this is you can't account for carry distances, pinch-points, forced layups, doglegs, etc.

If the men are playing a 450yd par 4 with a water hazard at 175 out. It doesn't help if the women also have a second shot at 175 out. Even if their hole is only 375yds long.

Sad state of affairs. Father Cleo has to be disappointed.

They’ll be right back at #1 or #2 next year. Just an odd year talent/size/depth wise for the Blue Jays.

Way more open field this year than usual.

I think the winner of the 4/5 game makes the championship.

Scott had us behind on NIL, so far behind in fact that ole miss was kicking the shite out of our NIL

I know this isn't the main point of the conversation but LSU chose to (now correctly) play the long game when it came to NIL. They knew a few things:

1. Collectives weren't going to remain a thing once the House case was settled.
2. Average fans weren't going to fund direct player compensation long-term.

Which is why LSU kept Bayou Traditions out of the public eye and funded primarily by top-end boosters for 2 years. Only when the House settlement got delayed did they push the program out to the masses for 12-18 months.

This worked out in LSU's favor has the NIL Max program is going to garner far more interest (and money) than average fan support long-term. Which is where Ole Miss is now left scrambling.

Critique Woodward all you want but credit LSU Admin for thinking on a slightly longer horizon than programs like Ole Miss.

They were never behind benches in Brady era. They were opposite of the benches.

Correct. I took their post as sideline. Not necessarily which sideline.
quote:

By the way, after watching lots of hoops this weekend, LSU needs to let their students move to the lower level behind the benches. Too many of those seats are taken by old namby pamby blue-haired hens and their feeble husbands.

They were there and stopped showing up. Even with halfway decent teams. This was in the Brady era.

We’ve also heard from “insiders” who support McMahon that he hated guys like Eric Gaines and wanted him gone ASAP.

In fairness, Wade was often sick of Gaines’ attitude

This is bullshite.

Child carseat laws are LAWS.

Had that kid been in a seat, he wouldn't have fallen out. Period.

Not disagreeing but the way I read it sounds like they may have been switching from one pump to another.

If they never had the child restrained then they need to be punished

Does he have sick time available to him?
