Can't watch star wars from prequels.

Remember how crazy it was when everyone found out darth was luke's father? And then Leia was his sister?! Would all be ruined if you started from episode I.

I understand it goes both ways but there is a reason why lucas released the movies the way he did.

Screened it last night....HULARIOUS.

Alice in Wonderland 3-D

Just saw it and was pleased.

3D is worth it, but I can see why a lot of people don't want to fork up the extra money to get that type of experience.

Cool special effects.

Jambalaya Shoppe in Denham opened up without talking to other owners (at least the one off of o'neal lane). This allowed them to get out of the name and open their own gig.

Same owners. Same great service. Better food.

Anyone saying its not possible is an IDIOT.

Kansas did it in 2007 after they lost to Missouri. Missouri went to the BIG 12 championship and lost.

Missouri, the Big 12 RUNNER UP, went to the Cotton Bowl.

Kansas, the #3 team in the Big 12, went to the ORANGE BOWL.

AGAIN. those who say its not possible...are IDIOTS.

All I have to say is go watch a regular movie at CitiPlace or Cinemark.

Next, proceed to the nearest Rave Theater and watch it in Digital and/or 3D Digtal.

Its like the difference between Sega Genesis and a PS3

So if the Ball passes the LOS and the dude Dropkicks someone in the face, its 1st and 25?

Give me a break and some of the bullshite kool-aid you're drinking.

Dude ripped his helmet off and ran like he was trying to destroy a chinese buffet wayyyy before the play was over.

Did you have a measuring stick to see where the ball was?

Ro recovered the ball as Cody took his helmet off.

Game was over.

WRONG. Jabba the Hut threw his helmet off a full second before anyone even knew where the ball was. I sat there and went "FLAG FLAG FLAG" while watching it on TV - THEN started laughing that nobody even knew where the ball was.
quote:

It was over. The kick was blocked and tenn could not have advanced it. Once the block was made the game was over.

Games not over until the play is blown dead. Dude threw his helmet off with a second on the clock.

Again, do I think it should be called - NO.

Should it have been called because of rules? - YES
quote:

And AJ Green shouldn't have gotten a excessive celebration penalty called on him. GET OVER IT!

Difference here is, we rammed it down their throat and scored a TD after a 40 yard return. They got the same call, got a bullshite return and couldn't do squat.
Do I think that the call should be made - No, bama blocked the shite out of that kick and deserved to win at that point.

Does the rules state that the flag should have been thrown and the kick re-tried 15 yards closer - Yes. SEC Refs are SUCKING IT UP and its not fair to all teams involved.
Bought 3 Club level tickets on the 40 yd line for $300 on gameday.

re: Ticket Prices

Posted by dziabari on 10/5/09 at 12:36 am to
Had a guy sell me 3 club level tickets on the 40 yd line for $100 a pop (normal price $165).

There will always be tickets available for reasonable prices, just be careful for scams. Only game I see really hard to grab a ticket for is the cowboys on Dec. 19th

FYI - tedd ginn jr is miami's #1 receiver
I'm a manager for the rave off o'neal and the mall just notified us that all 15 screens are sold out for tonights show.

Anyone who wants tickets, come on over to Rave on o'neal, we'll have an officer working the light there to ease traffic.

Movie was amazing, I screened it last night.
I work as a manager at Rave and we will give you free passes to another movie provided that you come and talk to us in a decent amount of time (30 mins is a good number).

Nothing funnier than when people ask for a refund when they sat through the whole movie.
Again ya'll - Only people UNDER the age of 17 will not be allowed inside unless they have someone 25 or older.

If you're 17, you'll be able to watch movies all day and night at Rave.
Transformers 2 hands down. It is going to be released a full week and a half before july 4th weekend. The first one set records at the time it was released.

Star Trek will be amazing. Term Salvation won't be close. It is rated PG-13. Only thing that lifts Term Salvation is Christian Bale.

Still, Star Trek is gonna be nuts.

Are you that fat frick manager at the RAve by the mall that used to always come in to the thurday midnight showings, and talk to us for 10 minutes about feet on the seats, , threaten to arrest us if we pulled out our cell phones, and in general be a douche bag?

More than kids being at the theater, seeing 10:30 as a start time but the movie not starting till 10:50 cause of trailers and fat guys giving speeches is the biggest reason why I don't go to Rave anymore.

Nope. And I can honestly say that nobody there matches that description.

Feet on the seats, using your cell phones in the movie is pretty aggravating. Anybody telling you to chill out on that is only doing their job.

i've never had a problem with rave management, even when saw 3 had its premier and the credit card machine didn't give me my ticket, and i had the recepit, and he let me through

If you ever have a problem with Rave Management then you are experiencing one of two things:

1) The person you are speaking with is fairly new and is still grasping what we are looking for in guest services.

2) You're about as special as they come.

I hand out free passes some nights like refs hand over games to auburn
Alright guys, I'm heading out and will update tomorrow. Please spread the word to friends as we will be turning away hundreds of unsupervised teenagers this weekend I'm sure.
quote:

touche, generally speaking a movie theatre tends to be a safe place for teenagers to hang out or at least for me growing up. Must teenagers go groups of 30 anyway........ wait i might like this rule.

See, that is fine. Just drop them off before 8pm and be ready to pick them up. Leaving kids (people under the age of 17) at any establishment unsupervised till midnight-1am is absolutely ridiculous.
The Mall Rave is going to be quite a battle - I'm not going to lie.

The O'neal Rave will be a lot easier as you pretty much only go in that area to see a movie or get a quick bite.
quote:

after a few weeks i'm sure this policy will be laxed a bit and kids who look like they're legitimately going to just watch the movie will be let in here or there

the message has to be sent, and i think this is an effective message

Rave has done the 8pm Minor Policy in 3 other major markets and have sticked to their guns. We do not enjoy having to babysit teenagers who come to "hang out". It has come to the point to where most parents just drop their kids off to do god knows what at whatever public establishment they are at.

I can tell you that both locations have been pushing for this for over a year now and we finally got what we wanted. Of course there will be some that slip through the cracks, but I can tell you that if you come to our theaters after 8pm, you will know that we are pushing this policy.
quote:

Still though, this is pretty shitty for the teenagers who actually go in and watch the movie. Why not just have someone posted up outside making sure people don't loiter?

Like I said, we have always tried to be seen as a family establishment. I've been to too many theaters in cities all over the U.S. that just let teenagers run crazy all over their location. We have tried managing it from within but too many teenagers are coming to our theaters and purchasing tickets just to hang out and talk to girls. That is fine and dandy as I used to be one of those teens, but that is not what we want.

Rave is a fairly new theater chain that is looking for the overall experience, while still catering to the masses.
