Carraway and Dardar for me. Although Dardar has flashed some hitting but his fielding is atrocious. Yorke is just trying to be what he isnt. He was a contact guy not a HR guy. He is trying too hard to be the latter and its showingup in foul outs and pop ups.

Jay basicaly admitted what alot of posters have been saying. We whiffed on the portal and we let 3 or4 players leave that were better than what we got. Neal, Costello, Ryan, Larson being allowed to leave was arrogant of the coaching staff. They thought they could and would do much better in the portal. The portal is a double edged sword. It can Hurt just as easy as it can help. We are seeing that this year. It will be critical for the program for Jay and Yeskie to have a good off season in talent evaluation and bringing in the proper players. As always the base and foundation of LSU needs to be Lousiana kids. The state produces great ball players and more than that they grow up dreaming of playing for the Tigers. That desire and dream is what gives players the fire and passion we need to win championships. Every Title we have won we did so with a lot of contribution from local kids that were leasders in the clubhouse and on the field. Cant get away from that. Our success starts at home
Basically what alot of folks have said here. Your base has to be built from Louisiana. U have to build with that as yiur base and then pick select players from other d1 g4 programs at positions of need. A closer a catcher a starter. But the majority has to come from homegrown kids from Louisiana.

Dardar has been pretty decent. Yorke is trying to be something he is not, a power hitter. He needs to get back to hitting for avg and putting ball in play. I think the young pitchers are indeed good but need seasoning. Paz in particular
People here are too pigheaded to understand that. Look at that replies. They have every straw man argument u could have. LSU is the premier college baseball program in the country. Equate it to if say Bama or Ohio state followed a MNC year with by being beat by western carolina and being embarrassed by purdue or mississippi state. No one expects LSU to win every single year but we do expect excellence and winning baseball. What Ive seen this year is far from that. The big question is will it correct itself?

Phuck u. I played the game. I know what I saw. Clowns on here talking bs. Its embarrassing what we ate putting in the field. We are the PREMIER college baseball program. What we are seeing is not acceptable period. U can accept it. I refuse and they should too.

I know we are a yr from natty and I get we cant win it every year. What i dont understand is the complete lack of effort, poise, and grit we have shown as a team. No leaders. No urgency to change. No pride. This ole miss team is not good. Neither was ok or vandy. We consistently make errors swing at bad pitches and generally look completely incompetent. That cant happen at LSU period. Losses happen. Baseball gods are fickle i get it. But what I have seen from this team goes beyond that. No heart what so ever. At some point u have play with urgency and passion. A will to win. Give a damn. Its very disheartening. I love LSU. I want us to win but if we cant at least show some grit and passion.
If I were jay I would just walk in & say yall need to decide if u wanna play for LSU or no

Gotta agree too many good players that should b e getting those reps. This isnt little league. Kid needs to sit. Let him play mid week games and find his poise and hitting again.

We are weak at key positions that u just cant be week at. 1b and catcher are very very important. Factor that in that we play sloppy and hit like shite and well u see what u get.
