They originally wanted Sean Connery to play Gandalf, offering $30 milllion + 15% of the box office gross. He turned it down. A $450 million mistake.

It’s possible they could charge the funders with racketeering under federal law.
Your company is required by law to have plan documents on file. Usually they’re available on the same website that tracks your 401k. Ask the 401k administrator for those. They’ll spell out what your specific 401k allows.

I think that’s how many have reported. You’re right, probably much higher.

I love how they say it’s affecting “some” customers. 200,000 isn’t “some”.

I think it’s more important to get to the bottom of their funding and publicize that.

I’m in a similar situation, but about 10 years younger. I plan to live off my pension, SS, Roth and savings when I retire. My 401K will be left alone to grow until I have to take RMDs or have bigger medical expenses.
You might want to speak with a financial advisor. Generally the Roth is the last thing you should touch.

Isn't this thing about over with? Inspiration by Trump and the Shah's son can only go so far when they are getting their heads busted and taking lead and I think I read losing their heads summarily.
The American Revolution was 8 years long. You’d be surprised how long people will hang on for freedom.
The MSFT example is an easy one. The good reactor at Three Mile Island was mothballed, and they’re paying to restart it.

Obama delayed this outcome for years by negotiating. I’d think Vance knows better.
The mullahs think Trump is like other US presidents. He’s probably the best President we’ve had leveraging US power. Look at the 25% tariff he’s just instituted. Trump will string the mullahs along and then drop the hammer.

Tommy’s going to demand the rights to those leases along the fault line as his severance compensation from Cami. Tommy will then form a new company, and bat 1.000 along said fault line. Then when the rig in the Gulf goes bust and Cami loses MTex, Tommy will scoop it up at a bargain price and merge it with his new company.

The protestors don’t need/want boots on the ground, the need international support. The more the regime is marginalized, the more it helps the protesters. It would be much better for Iran if the military and elites turned on the theocratic regime.

Reza Pahlavi has taken steps to avoid a long, drawn out rebuild. Over the past few years he’s worked to get the different factions to support him. From what I understand, under his father they were pretty much left alone, so they trust him to do the same thing. As long as they leave the management class intact, a transition could be relatively smooth.

Let’s airdrop a few hundred thousand rifles and small arms to start. Make shooting these crowds at least something more of a gamble.
Apparently the Mossad is already on the ground there and telling the protestors to hang in. I suspect in addition to small arms, you may see medical supplies and communication equipment. The GPS jammers should be easy to locate, they’ll get taken out with precision ordinance. With communications equipment it will be easier to organize and locate the current leadership.
