I prefer getting the 8% inflation adjusted payment later. I’ll take at 70, wife will begin at 67 (we’re the same age). In the meantime this gives me more room to do Roth conversions before RMDs hit.

Really depends. For example, if you have a Samsung Q series tv, their Q series soundbars integrate the tv speakers into the surround system.

The OP’s title was taking a shot at British since they were once referred to in common parlance as the British Empire, and making light of their fall. You choose to go on a tangent about the US being more of an empire, and then claimed you never said it.

I’m so done with Europe and the UK Commonwealth states. If that report about MBS is true, I’m more than happy to align with the Saudis, UAE, Eastern Europe, Japan and SK. Screw the old guard. They’re useless.
