This guy Baker head of the NCAA says this point shaving scheme by only small school basketball teams is a threat to integrity of college sports. Wait a minute. We have almost 4500 college football players in the portal. Enough to feild almost 60 teams. Some moving multiple times and being paid millions. The leader of the NCAA thinks this does not destroy the integrity of the game? Problem. There are no more real men in administration that know how to manage anything. Just go after the little guy.
That’s is why I watch, but do not get upset by who wins or loses.
I am 72 and remember in the early 70’s Bear Bryant could not beat Notre Dame. That was before Bama lowered their athletic admissions standards so they could win and get ESPN money which came on the scene in 1980. Beginning of the end of true college football

Miss State school colors

Black football uniforms in the bowl game. Black uniforms tonight in basketball. Are you now ashamed of Maroon? If I were an alumni of that University for whatever it was worth I would be writing a letter to the president of the university!
He will win a Super Bowl long before Burrow.

There is no more college football. What ever governing body that is over this mess does not have a real white man that will take the bull by the horns. Cap the earnings, maximum two portal trips. Second portal you sit out a year. If a player does not like it tell him to go to the NFL or Canadian league.
The reason. Ole Miss was beaten badly in the trenches on both sides of the ball especially in first half
How. Because the NCAA was more worried about schools like Southern Mississippi and putting their petty tennis team on probation while a player and his whole family are moved from Hawaii and family given jobs at a powerful SEC school and nothing happened. That’s how
Even before NIL and the portal the sec was only about 52% in bowls all time
They have to be woke and wear black.

What is wrong State. Not good enough to wear your school colors. Too embarrassed. Must be a discount offered by suppliers on black material

Not the point who wins exactly. Competitive games please

State of affairs

When I was a kid in the 60’s January 1 was a day of great football bowl games. Families gathered and good times. My daddy set up 3 tv’s in the living room and food for everyone. Fast forward to today. Billionaire coach’s, millionaire players and not one game worth watching. Georgia will smoke Ole Miss tonight. Folks under 50 will not understand what I just said.

Go back to old Bowl Program

Not going to have one worthwhile game today on January 1. Pitiful

Go back to the old program and let the sports writers and coaches determine number 1. Number 2 don’t matter

Tech can’t even get a first down. Once the defense wears out Katie by the door.

Tech has good defense but they will wear out in the third quarter. Offense is as bad as Southern Mississippi

JMU-Tulane

Question was a week ago how these two got into the playoffs. How the hades did Texas Tech get here?
Don’t let your heart be troubled. The NCAA has their eyes on punishing the worthless Southern Mississippi men’s tennis program. A big money outfit
Can’t. Greed has ruined the game. Starting with the criminally high salaries coaches started getting a few decades ago. This led to players wanting piece of the pie.
