O line
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 1/14/26 at 5:57 pm
Is the o line toast again next year? Only 4 guys coming so far not much experience it seems and we lost 9
Obviously still time left to grab some players. Should we anticipate more? Hopefully the current guys develop

O line depth worries me
That’s the last straw for McMahon
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 1/10/26 at 2:59 pm
I’ll admit, I’ve been an optimistic simp the past 2 seasons with lsu basketball, especially this year. I’ve been critical of McMahon but never a true hater, thought he’d get us back to Will Wade level
However, it’s obvious to me now that won’t happen under his leadership. 3 of 5 games this season against good competition we weren’t even close
He’s gotta geaux

Good point, I’ll change my answer
Silverfield is a bum, Arky doomed
Vandy coming

The next SEC Indiana

Out of all the bottom dwellers of the SEC with no success recently (Kentucky, USCe, Ms. State, etc), which one could be the SECs version of Indiana and really turn it around in the new era?
The obvious answer right now would be Vandy but I don’t think success is sustainable there for any extended period of time
Should be Arky imo with the Wal Mart money

I respect your opinion though believe it to be incorrect
OM playoff run
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 1/4/26 at 2:59 pm
If Ole miss pulls it off and wins the NC, how does this affect LSU’s coaching staff and football team? I’m worried Lane and Co. will have a great case of what if and it’ll screw us over. Pulling for Miami this week

Loser mentality
LSU matches up better against Bama than OM/Vandy/TAMU
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 11/7/25 at 1:01 pm
Due to the opposing QB. Ty Simpson has played well but he’s not a true dual threat. Expecting the defense to keep us in it.

Frank Wilson will be the coach. Just a hunch

LSU MBB Transfer Portal
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 11/5/25 at 8:42 pm
Anyone have a list of players from last season who transferred out? Transferred in? Likely a google or chat gpt search away though wanted to let one of you basketball wizards take a crack at it
Whit Weeks...What are the chances he comes back next year?
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 11/5/25 at 7:38 pm
What are the chances he comes back next year? Missed a lot of ball this season, possibly some draft capital. Also not the season you want to go out on. Thoughts?
No to nicky

B**** move to hire someone who already left you and then spent the majority of his career beating you, not to mention he retired when the NIL era started.
It’s similar to taking back an ex who is past her prime but still needs attention
Get a young coach, innovative, hungry for dubs. Let the old timers enjoy their retirement

Ole miss win in 24’ was a lot of fun

I know I know “he’s got limited experience, never been a head coach, yada yada”
Guy is an over achiever. Could you imagine how hard our guys would play for him? No more soft bs. I bet he’d be a great recruiter as well.

Deep pockets

Didn’t know the boys in BR had the pockets to pull this off, they said our boosters didn’t have the coffers. Incredible. Love the commitment to excellence.
Offensive improvement - is it possible?
Posted by sciencefairchamp on 9/29/25 at 7:23 pm
Clearly the O is holding this team back.
We haven’t seen any improvement on that side of the ball (SELA doesn’t count). The final scoring drive against OM leaves room for some optimism, though as of right now we are not playoff caliber.
Was wondering if anyone can think of a season where an LSU team went from garbage on offense to efficient in the same season? Looking for a reason to hold onto hope.

You heard it here first.
Defense = elite
Offense will only get better.
If we stay healthy it’s a no doubter

It would never happen but with Diego Pavia getting 9 years of eligibility you never know
