Good Lordt, the fact that any of you a-holes believe that she was trying to ram an officer shows how fricked up this site is. Unbelievable. She backed up to go around the guy and he shot her. Judge, jury and executioner. He’s going to prison.
Patches will kill you. Daughter got one after being all state in XC in 8th grade. By the time she was finished that thing was covered. Mine only had one patch. lol

We create those nonproductive citizens with our shitty education system and mass incarceration system. After they graduate from either, they can’t afford to leave.

I left in 2016 and returned in 2018. My two older daughters graduated from college, got married and stayed. Youngest graduated, moved to Austin and now lives in Brooklyn. She loves it and makes a whole lot more money than the other two.
Youngest has more ambition and big cities are where the opportunity is located. She could never get a similar job here in Louisiana where the pay is lower because they can pay shite and people will work for it.

Don’t get one until March. Thinking of getting a crossbow, since my shoulder prevents use of my current bow.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic but imagine how much money could have been put to better use, and how much better the public system would be now if whitey had just accepted integration and moved forward with it? The societal costs have been unbearable.

They did it at gunpoint. A better option would have been not fighting integration tooth and nail and sticking with the public system instead of white flighting to Central, Livingston and Ascension.

re: What knife or tool do you use to crack open the sternum on a deer?
Posted by Mung on 1/3/26 at 2:36 pm to LSUSUPERSTAR
I have an old Browning 3 blade that my grandfather left me. Skinning blade, guthook and saw. Since I always field dress, I use that to crack the sternum.

You prolly right. Especially since the train back would be in the dark

I’ve been thinking about taking the train. Bus leaves BR at 5am, train leaves N.O. At 7am, arrives in Mobile before noon. Not sure when you get back to BR or if it makes more sense to spend the night.

Is there any city in Louisiana that would elect a queer mayor? Not even New Orleans.

It’s still a great place to raise a family, especially if you love the outdoors. Crime is concentrated in certain areas that you never have to go to. Not much else to do besides hunt and fish tho. If you live on the west side you can send your kids to public schools, Nachman to Brame to ASH, and avoid all the private school tuition.

First exposure I had to FQ rats was at Bayona. Was having a romantic dinner on the patio and saw 3 running around on the bricks. Freaked me out.

I’ve never had a gas grill or any kind of yard equipment last until trash pickup. Somebody always picks it up.
