People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?
Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
* When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
* Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
* Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
* Take naps.
* Stretch before rising.
* Run, romp, and play daily.
* Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
* Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
* On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
* On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
* When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
* Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
* Be faithful.
* Never pretend to be something you’re not.
* If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
* When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
That’s the secret of happiness that we can learn from a good dog.

2019 stayed in the BR location during a fricking lady bug infestation…I shite you not they were everywhere. Never looked out the window until we got back from the casino past midnight and they were having a party all along the window. Called down to the desk and they sent up a little lady with a vacuum cleaner.

I know a lot of people say don’t paint… it’s a synthetic plastic stock not the wooden version. Looking back at ole paw paw I don’t think he’d have a problem with it he’d more or less just laugh and say “you go ahead sha” with the way today is with guns he would have never believed you could trick this old rifle out. He’s probably laughing up there…

Anyone have one of these? I recently got my grandfathers after he passed and I’ve only shot it a few times. I just bought an ultimak forward mounting rail and a Vortex Sparc solar optic. I plan on painting it soon and was wondering if anyone has experience with painting guns like this what would you use prep work etc! Thanks in advance!
Update:
Installed the ultimak rail which wasn’t that hard just more annoying to disassemble and reassemble the gun.I plan on just throwing down a tan base coat with a few black stripes. My last venture will be to look for a brown leather sling any recommendations for the sling not looking for anything crazy just a simple sling.

Attempt turned completion
Extra crispy lol

I don’t know Mr. James but I had the privilege to hear Colonel Seeber speak about his time as a POW in Vietnam. Such an amazing story
