HS wrestling is pretty popular in the midwest but I think the lack of money to be made post-HS puts a cap on how big it can be nationally. The Olympics are cool but if you are a top athlete why would you focus on wrestling when you can potentially make millions in other sports? I recall that a few years ago there was an attempt to start a professional freestyle wrestling league but I think it fizzled out pretty quick.

It was AP #16 Providence (13-1) not Seton Hall. So the two losses were to AP #13 and #16, who are a combined 22-3.
