The amount of men in here who openly hate women is terrifying. No wonder they choose anyone but men
I genuinely think that may be Trumps plan. Let people act up, come in and bring iversite to the cities.
Or political posts should stay in the poli board. They have no place here, a child and 2 doctors were among the dead. This place routinely reminds me that 50% of the country is below average intelligence and I think 90% of them live in the Deep South with me. Education is important, but common sense is severely deficient here
I agree. James Spann has worked tirelessly to improve and educate Alabama. It has to feel like banging his head into a brick wall most of the time, but he is the one met I trust

Has ties to Louisiana, although now lives in Florida. Anyone know him. Is he as creepy as he appears to be?
I’m so sorry, as a parent I know how tough it can be. But honestly, all of the symptoms you mention sound like they all fall on the autism spectrum-just the more severe side of it. My best friends son is similar, he has been diagnosed with severe autism and he’s non verbal, hypotonic and I honestly don’t know how they do it. He’s a full time job, the wife puts in so much effort trying to give him some semblance of a life. At 13, I’m not even sure how aware he is. They have did years of treatments, everything that the drs threw at them with not much effect.

And then the parents let the 9 year old son who killed the kid be separated the morning after he killed his sister and go to friends house, trusting he would not talk? No way.
I am 50/50 parents or intruder, but as the parent of a 9 year old boy currently, I have give zero percent chance that he could have killed her and kept it to himself. Weird fricker? Absolutely, he’s neurodivergent and grew up in a petty dish of tabloid coverage claiming he was a killer.
Anyone saw any update from Anna Maria? It’s one of the few old Florida beach places left, I know they got damage last week with Helene. Haven’t saw much with Milton on the area
Mounjoro costs $1200 a month
It’s a damn miracle drug, once it’s no longer so expensive anyone can lose weight. Works for 97% of people
Why couldn’t he have just shot himself before? There was no need to take others out with him
The dill pickle chips are the best. Have to order by the gallon from Amazon, can’t get them here in Alabama
I fricking HATE twitter. Worst social media app ever
My son has a late August birthday. The plan was always 2 years of kindergarten. 2020 came and Covid hit, which was his kinder year. It worked out perfectly. He’s almost 8, going into second, and is so far ahead of his classmates both academically and socially. He’s an only child, so he wasn’t going to set any maturity records otherwise. The others will catch up, but school has been so much easier with the extra boost. I can’t imagine sending a dumbass 17 year old boy to college

I would love to try these but it doesn’t seem like anywhere in Alabama caught on to this trend…
This argument sums up America in a nut shell. Two stupid people who can’t stop arguing over something meaningless amongst a tragedy
I went into healthcare, and we all know how healthcare in this country is going.
Also, it’s going to get worse before it gets better, so honestly the middle to lower class are going to have some issues.
I work in healthcare and corrections, and if you remove the mentally ill from the jail and prisons, there would be about 75% less inmates. But there is literally no where to put the crazy, because no one can afford to subsidize them for 89 years that we now can keep them alive. And you can’t keep staff at mental institutions due to the overwhelming amount of government rules and regulations, so they end up in jails and prisons instead. I have worked at both a maximum security mental hospital, a state prison, a county jail, and a run of the mill mental hospital in the greater Alabama area. I honestly think that a certain population should just be humanely euthanized and put out of their misery. But who do you trust to make the judgement of who?
At what point do we stop with the black/white/gay diatribe and realize that this country and that generation are in trouble? I’m genuinely concerned about what will be the norm for my young son as an adult.

My brother and his wife went 2 weeks ago. Witnessed 2 unrelated shootings in a span of 3 days. Said they won’t be back until things change.
It may be because people are starting to realize that alcohol really IS the new cigarette, in that people used it as a social crutch only to find out it’s a huge cause of cancer. GI cancer on the 40 and under crowd has soared, and alcohol intake is a huge part of why.
Sounds like he’s on a 3 week bender, he’ll either surface alive when he gets arrested for they’ll find his body, either murdered or OD’d from partying too hard after years of soberiety
It’s not “becoming” a shite home, it’s already there. Outside of the university and Northport, it’s awful.
The guy knew from the get go he wasn’t getting out of it unscathed.
Those pigs deserve death, and I’m pretty pro cop.
Also MPD coos are apparently all fat out of shape assholes, that first guy was dying from a slow jog
I work in an area that see’s a lot of trauma. You would be surprised at how often physical shock, almost a catatonic state, occurs. It’s not always the loud, screaming hysterical response. Sometimes it’s an absolute shutdown if everything but basic breathing/heartbeat/temperature regulation.
They are extremely gentle with humans, kids esp. we have a non-working GP, and he’s the best. He guards my son like he’s a goat and would frick up any other animal that came near him. He’s useless against humans though, he loves people

This entire thread shows why Louisiana and the Deep South are last in education. Some stupid mofo’s around here.

Most of the people down there were working class or retirees and underinsured. So their 1970’s bungalow got wiped out and instead of retiring by the ocean they had to move because they couldn’t afford to rebuild with the new hurricane codes. Was really sad hearing some of their stories. A lot of what’s going up now looked to me to be out of state rental type houses, that town will never be the same.

It’s already changed so much. My entire extended family goes for a few weeks every summer and this year, it’s just so different. We loved that it wasn’t touristy, you could just go chill and have an e enjoyable time at the beach and not sit in hours of traffic. Low key, family time. I honestly think it will end up like every other beach town in the panhandle now. I hate it for the working class that lost their dream, it’s going to be a wealthy playground now

ow for Hurricane Michael it was beautiful two days before it landed and the day before it hit other than some clouds you would’ve had no idea what was offshore. Between that, no AC and the mosquitos I can see why the gulf coast wasn’t as populated back then.

We were staying in PSJ and evacuated the day before Michael hit. We were at stump hole playing in the water 12 hours before it took out the entire town and everything near it. 24 hours before, you had no idea. 12 hours before, the surf was rough but still swimmable off CSB. We were there in July, they are still trying to rebuild. Mexico Beach is lagging way behind
It wasn’t feral, it was a dumped domesticated dog. Ie, friendly. So again, let down by stupid humans…again
As the owner of a husky, this literally makes me sick. He’s the best, most gentle dog ever. Humans domesticated dogs to be companions, to turn around and treat them like shite.
If you can’t be a knowledgeable, responsible hunter, you need to get the frick out of the woods.
