Hey. You realize if you're a conservative you're allowing a group outside of yourself to think for you just like the liberals are, don't you? Please tell me you realize that ??

Because they would hypothetically have lamar brown and richard Anderson on their team in two seasons lmao
re: 6-WR’s,0-QB’s…make it make sense

I'll make it really simple. You can have up to 5 WR on the field at one time. Plus special teams. Most games, only 1 QB sees the field. It would make sense that a team would be able to attract a higher number of receivers at a faster rate compared to QB.

It's like people forgot special teams exist.

re: Washington set to host MULTIPLE portal QBs

I'm not overthinking it all. I specifically said "hypothetically" "in no way do I want this to happen" "would be funny to watch it play out." At no point did I suggest that he should or would stay and take a redshirt. I just asked what would happen if he did. If you don't know it's ok to say you don't know or just not respond at all lmao

What happens if Williams were to withdraw his request and take a redshirt year while forcing UW to pay him 4 mil not to play?
Couldn't he just wait until they sign his replacement then "change his mind" and make UW decide if they wanna pay two QBs 4+ mil?
Hypothetically he would be back in the portal with the same amount of eligibility and 4 mil in his pocket after next season.
In no way do I want this to happen because it would mean he's not playing for LSU. But it would be hilarious to watch it play out.

re: Rick Neuheisel's Bowl Idea
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 12/31/25 at 10:12 am to Sheriff Brackett
Go back to the old bowl format of conference affiliation. Bigger bowls choose first. Start the playoff rankings at the by beginning of the season. G5 teams have to win a bowl game to be eligible for playoffs. P4 teams that win any of the 6 big bowl games go to the top of the playoff rankings. Any team that wins a bowl game and a conference championship automatically qualifies for the playoffs.
A school could turn down a bowl invite but they would be denying their team a chance at an automatic playoff spot.

Now tell me what they avg against every other team. If it's lower than these numbers that would mean Blake is the best coordinator those teams faced all year which would also mean he's not overrated.
re: Just curious. Usually people refer to a coach by their last name but not for CLK
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 12/22/25 at 8:42 am to duckblind56
Most of the people in the media watched him grow up. They refer to him as Lane so the fans who were introduced to him through the media refer to him the same way.

Brought him up in a couple of other threads earlier. He would be my first choice

Jaden Craig

Jaden Craig from Harvard should be the first target.
re: Why was Herb ejected last night?
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 12/12/25 at 3:02 pm to ScoopAndScore
In the last month Herb has been the primary defender against SGA, Curry, Booker, Luka, Fox, and Jamal Murray. None of them have scored 25 points. Only 2 of them got 20. He is in no way overrated on defense.

Well technically they are teaching him how to get paid 12 million to play college football
re: 104.5 Program Director Says LK now 55/45 LSU
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 11/28/25 at 6:24 am to BearCrocs
After the nil budget LSU is offering lane was leaked there is no way Blake Baker is the next head coach unless they think he's the guy. Multiple agents have contacted lsu on behalf of active coaches to express interest in the job if they are really going to put that much money into the roster.

Just imagine. Haliburton wasn't hurt yet when they traded that pick. We could have top 3 protected that one too. We'd have Fears, Queen, and two top 5 picks. It feels like we're always in position to end up like OKC or Boston but we can never capitalize.
re: LSU to reshape system of CFB coaches contracts?
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 10/30/25 at 1:44 pm to JimTiger72
Why wouldn't they? Kirby is the highest paid coach in CFB right now at 13 million a year. With this contract it would only take 10 wins a year to get to 11 mil which is more than Sark and Lanning. Hypothetically if the new coach earns a bye he could earn 13 million in his first season without winning a playoff game. It took Kirby 9 years and 2 national championships to get a contract like that.
I'm pretty sure all of the big name coaches are confident they could win 10 games a year at LSU with the resources available. Heck we even avoided having to play Bama and UF every year.

I think the most important part is when he replied to someone saying that he knows for a fact Sheppard is waiting on a call. Most of the media pretty much agrees he wouldn't go to LSU because he's going to be a head coach in the NFL soon. But all the former players seem to think the opposite.
I have no clue how Sheppard would perform as the head coach of LSU. But I do know that usually when a guy's former teammates all agree he would be a good coach, the guy usually ends up being a really good coach. There are multiple examples in every sport having success right now.

re: Kelly said they were holding back the offense to try and establish an Identity
Posted by 5iveEuax4eaux on 10/28/25 at 2:46 pm to TigerFan55555
I took that to mean he knew the team couldn't run the ball with just 5 lineman so they couldn't use the spread as our main offense. If he did it would be too predictable because the qb can't run so they would have to switch personnel every time they wanted to run the ball
