I picked up 250 share at $6.50. Have a buy order in for 750 at $6.00. Would rather it go up from here though!

OIF III veteran here. This is 100% correct.
Exactly my point. Acknowledge what happened before making the next hire, whomever that will be. This is not about WW vs. any other coach, but about risk management, the law of unintended consequences, and instilling stakeholder confidence that the next hire demonstrates a long term commitment to LSU basketball. The WW decision and subsequent fall out suggests the opposite.
If this is the case, I would like LSU to acknowledge this in some way. I am a reasonable person and will accept this if true and move on, but message board speculation is not a sufficient substitute for stakeholder communication.
Firing Will Wade was one the worst business decisions the LSU Athletic Department has visibly made in a long time. I say visibly, because his firing makes me question how the financials are handled behind public eye.

IMO, LSU should have reprimanded the General, taken its lumps including the negative press, maybe even suspended him, and viewed retaining him as a long term business decision. We would be far better off today.

If there was more to the situation than what is publicly known, such as LSU sacrificing basketball to save football, there should have at least been a cryptic press release to make this known. At least then I would have some confidence that LSU made a wise business decision. But that never happened.

What is done is done. However, LSU messed up and owes it to their stakeholders to either clear the air or make things right. IMO, bringing WW back is as much about reconciliation with fans as it is about building a winning program. Even if he cannot or will not return, I would like to see LSU at least acknowledge they made a poor business decision so that fans like me can heal and move on. I would be much more open to whomever they hire next if they would do so.

I purchased 7,000 shares at a $2.85 average, all in my Roth IRA. My kids have another combined 650 shares in their custodial accounts.

I test-drove a R1T a couple of months ago. My next vehicle is 100% going to be a Rivian.

This was caught in our neighborhood pond in the Baton Rouge area.

Trophy Sac-a-Lait Size

Anyone know what size is considered a trophy? My son just caught a black species in our pond weighing 2.01 lb and just shy of 16”.

I have used it since 2011. I think it is a significant reason why I have a healthy marriage.

We had ours in the LSU Lodd Cook Conference Center, the Shelton I Room.
Mike Johnson is absolutely the real deal and I have no doubt that God has providentially created the circumstances that will allow him to become SOH in a few moments. He was my college SS teacher at Parkview Baptist about 23 years ago before his family moved home to Shreveport. He taught the Bible, not a book about the Bible. One Halloween night, he invited the college students to his house. We walked around his neighborhood and passed out gospel tracts to his neighbors at their doors and shared the gospel with a few of them. I remember that his wife Kelly was expecting their first child. Mike showed us a mural he painted on the wall above the crib, complete with a shepherd scene and Scripture about Jesus being the good Shepherd. You learn a lot about a man when you are invited to see his family life at home. If he is still the same godly man today that he was then, I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually tries to lead the house to repentance. He is an answered prayer if he gets elected today.
I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

When I married 15 years ago I inherited a dog who was great but slowly declining congnitively which led to other issues. I confess that I complained about the dog a lot because of the inconvenience. My wife loved that dog. Nine years ago, while in the hospital recovering from a c-section, my wife asked me to take the dog to the vet and put her to sleep. She couldn't do it herself, but knew it was time and asked me to go before she came home with our newborn. Ironically, I felt so guilty because I complained about the dog so much and she felt guilty because the time was way past to put her down. We felt guilty for opposite reasons. I had the fortune of being there with the dog and comforting her. My wife was so appreciative. The veterinarian was appreciative. I received a measure of closure for my complaints about the dog, as she looked at me and almost seemed to be saying thanks for ending the suffering. My conclusion is that it is an act mercy to put the dog to rest when it is obvious the time has come.
