Our taxes will be used to pay the ambulance chasing lawyers for their services.
With the problems for Good, and the strong defenses for the ICE agent, I don't think this will be a huge payday for the ambulance chasers.

There will be a multimillion dollar settlement with the family.
Could be, but the US is going to be the primary defendant. I don't see Trump's DOJ rolling over on this.

Excellent point. The civil case will almost certainly be settled. Because of the problems for the plaintiffs, I don't think the settlement will be astronomical.

Isn’t it odd that “the husband” hasn’t been brought out front and center by the left to portray a tragic figure to their base…to speak or make a statement? Usually they drag out all of the family members and hangers-on to gain sympathy and further rile up everyone.
Good point, but from what little we have seen, she doesn't seem like she would have much emotional appeal.
Also, her statements that "it was my fault for bringing her down here" and "drive, baby, drive!" already might have her on the hook for partial responsibility in both civil and criminal cases.
Good's Family hires George Floyd Attorneys

"Renee Good's family is accusing federal immigration officers of killing the Minneapolis mother of three as she attempted to follow agents’ instructions, and said Wednesday they have hired the same law firm that represented George Floyd ’s family to press for answers and accountability.
Her loved ones said in a statement they want Good, 37, remembered as “an agent of peace” and urged the public not to use her death as a political flashpoint, according to the Chicago-based firm Romanucci & Blandin. The firm said it is investigating Good’s death and will release information in the coming weeks.
The family’s decision to hire the firm came the same week the U.S. Justice Department said it sees no basis to open a federal civil rights investigation into the shooting. An FBI probe of Renee Good’s death is ongoing.
Roughly half a dozen federal prosecutors in Minnesota resigned this week, and several supervisors in the criminal section of the Civil Rights Division in Washington gave notice of their departures, according to people familiar with the matter."

Pretty ballsy to claim that she was trying to follow orders when she was shot. You never know with a Minnesota jury, though (see Derek Chauvin).

Not necessarily. Left forearm and left head could easily be from one bullet.
That's a good point. That won't get cleared up until we see the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's report, including the autopsy.
I imagine the Good's family's attorney will hope to establish that the shot to the head came from behind. The exact position of the forearm wound might come into play there.

Sure seems to be much more causation in their words than in the words of President Trump on J6 for which he was prosecuted by DOJ:
"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Also shows that the NYT analysis of the "three shots" was wrong.

This shows how unreliable witness reports can be. Several people said she was shot in the face.

"Renee Nicole Good, the woman fatally shot by a U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer last week, was found with four gunshot wounds, according to a Minneapolis Fire Department incident report obtained by Fox News Digital.
Good, 37, suffered two gunshot wounds to the right side of her chest, one to her left forearm and one "with protruding tissue on the left side of the patient’s head," according to the report. Blood was also flowing from her left ear, the report said.
Initial reports indicated Good had been shot three times during the Jan. 7 incident."

You promptly questioned the legality of this. Your recollection is false but does not surprise at this point.
I am treating you with way too much respect, but I went back through all my posts on this. As to the legality of the shooting, my first three posts said the agent looked to be shooting from an angle where the car had already cleared him. Here is my fourth post, 26 minutes after my first, where I said it clearly was a justified shooting based on a different image I saw where the agent was clearly in front when he started shooting. I never expressed any doubts about that afterwards.
As to whether or not the detention of Good was lawful (which related to federal immunity from Minnesota prosecution), I said the agent was clear on those grounds when Stout showed evidence that Good wasn't just parked blocking one lane of traffic (a state law for which ICE did not have the power to detain), but that she was actively blocking the entire road such that ICE couldn't get around her. I never changed my mind on that. Here was my specific comment, less than 5 hours after my first on a workday afternoon.
I will never be able to convince some of you that I'm not some horrible Leftist just because I keep an open mind on issues until I see enough evidence. I will just have to live with that.
Cheers

Look who came prancing in (3rd post no less) pretending to be about law and order.
I'm not pretending about anything. I certainly have never approved of lawlessness. I annoy people by taking the time to discuss the actual laws involved. Most people here don't care what the law IS, they just write on what they want the law TO BE.
I also have an annoying commitment to accuracy. I made the 3rd post to point out that Stidham's initial clip didn't actually say anything about Walz and Frey being under investigation. Stidham saw that, and corrected it in the 4th post. I thanked him for doing so in the 5th post, and agreed with the general sentiment that we hope Walz and Frey are prosecuted.

BTW, are you still concerned that the ICE agents stopped and gave an order for the whack lib attempting to block ICE from their duties? Or are you still questioning?
Again, frick you. I said she might have been breaking a federal law (which would have subjected her to detention from ICE agents), but that it wasn't shown in the video...which just showed her violating a state traffic law. As soon as I saw the video of her blocking ICE officers, I said she was subject to detention by ICE.
