re: Second Tier Cell phone carriers
Posted by BillyGibbons on 3/4/26 at 2:34 pm to tigerrage08
They all just re-sell another carrier's service.
For example, I currently have Mint mobile (T-Mobile), $208 for a year of unlimited pre-paid. No issues whatsoever.
I've had Spectrum (Verizon) and StraightTalk (ATT) in the past with no issues either.
I'd look into which major carrier provides the best service and then pick the reseller that utilizes that network. For example, Sprint has amazing coverage by the house (highly unlikely) go with Boost...

My 9 year old just had his out (wish we would have pulled the trigger when he was younger). First day was rough, it got a little better days 2-4. Day 5-6 were probably the worst, they say that's when the scabs fall off and expose the fresh tissue below.
All in all, he did really well. Here's a few notes/recommendations.
-Keep a strict rotation of pain meds (Tylenol/Ibuprofen). The one or two times we didn't wake him to give them to him, we regretted it because it just became more difficult to get him to take it the more pain he was in.
-Make sure they stay hydrated either through drinking or the frozen treats.
-Another thing we did that I believe helped was keeping a cool mist humidifier right next to him at night to prevent his throat from drying out. Probably not a bad idea to just have it on near them at all times for the first week or so.
I'll edit if I think of anything else.

Man, I just saw her in the John Candy doc and she looked/sounded great!
re: Is getting a Process Technology degree at Sowela worth it?
Posted by BillyGibbons on 12/28/25 at 11:24 am to Chastains
Don’t know much but I used to work in Process Automation and we hired a kid straight out of there about a year into COVID. I think he started out making ~$65k doing very little actually programming (and zero field work)… basically just doing a whole lot of HMI displays. He left 1-2 years later to take a gig at Weslake making >$100k.

This poor dude... Two of the most dramatic moments of his life (by far) caught on camera and subject to the world's judgement. Fortunately I think most SANE people respect and appreciate what he did here.

Better looking women for sure! I've spent some time up there and it was one of the biggest eye openers for me.
re: About to finish Big Back Billy (PPSA) and want to know which program helps grow Maxes best
Posted by BillyGibbons on 12/1/25 at 10:34 am to markog123
nSuns 5/3/1 program. I did the 4-day for entirely too long (2-3 years) and my maxes exploded. I've now dialed back to lifting heavy 3-days/week with various PPSA programs. My gains are slower but my CNS isn't in the dirt all the time now.
re: How would you set up the NIL structure?

1st I'd change the rules at the NCAA level.
Make the letter of commitment a 3-year exclusive contract with a 4th and 5th year option. A player can transfer but has to sit 1 year if they do.
Guarantee the players a full scholarship for the duration of the contract regardless of injury/status.

MHS (Mandeville High School) Lockdown - Active Shooter Threat

Just heard there was a lock down at MHS today due to an "active shooter threat". Anyone know any more about the details?

That's awesome man. Like the poster a few posts above me said, ditch the trainers and either go barefoot. If the gym won't allow it or you're uncomfortable with it, get some Chuck Taylors or Vans. Either will provide a much more stable platform when you've got the weight on your back.

I watched it. It made me hate “Dr” Susan and I do think that she, the individual was very racist but I don’t get how it could fuel racial division on a broad scale.

This is my favorite show atm. I’m really hoping the story can continue beyond whatever they have planned for the season finale.

He has a torn oblique. Has had this since fall camp at least. Recovery time on this surgery is 3-4 months. They were hoping it would heal up enough to only require a shot and finish healing this week and next. I am not sure if that will be the case but it is obvious he hasnt been himself and this is why. This isnt a guess, it is on good authority or I wouldnt put it out there.
If this is true, shouldn't he shut it down and hope for a medical redshirt?
