Some huge demonstrations even in the face of thousands of deaths argue otherwise.
No doubt there are hard core supporters and they have all the guns, so overthrow may not be possible but don’t confuse that for popular support.
We could provide air support, weapons and civilian advisors that could make it possible. But until the people are armed it won’t happen.
