I just don’t want to get the gasket fixed so I’ll keep doing it this way. I’ve tried Stop Leak but not had much luck with it.
The oil pan gasket? That's a $500 repair at worst. You're paying $200 per year in just oil to top off. I would just bite the bullet and change it. It would drive me nuts to check my oil every single day.

Rees St. I would trust L&L tire as well. Herbert's Garage changed ownership and its called something else now.

They don't use impact wrenches. I know that for a fact.

I guess piece of mind it’s done right for me.
The place I go to is family owned and I know them personally. They've all been working there forever. I'll never step foot in a Take 5 or any of those other chains.

Don’t scan shite just tell me where you got it changed
Although the Altima part is concerning
Locally here in Breaux Bridge. It's a conventional oil change, not synthetic. The Altima is my stepdaughters car. Her dad bought it. Blame him.

Are you talking about a lawnmower or something
I just had the oil changed today on my daughter's 2008 Altima. It cost $43. I can scan a copy of the receipt if you like.
re: Did you or your kids have a huge growth spurt or was it more gradual?

I was 5'8" in 8th grade and grew an inch every year. Was 6'0" my senior year.
My brother went from 5'9" to 6'3" between his freshman and sophomore year.

East Texas for sure. I had a Air Force buddy that lived near San Antonio that never ate them his entire life.

Change my own oil. Easy process, simple, and learn things about your vehicle.
I know how to change my own oil but after buying the oil($20) and the filter($10), I'd much rather pay $10 more to have someone do it all for me. It's not worth the hassle of gathering all my tools, Put the car on ramps, etc.

We started having pouches in 5th grade, so 1989? Before that was the small cartons.

I would think 90% of all college and MLB players have played travel ball so all the money their parents paid weren't a waste for them.

My grandpa was 19 and my grandma was 15 when they got married and had my dad a year later. Together 50+ years. Times have sure changed. That would be outlawed today.

It's a stupid law. The day after you graduate should be enough. I've always said, a random 26 year old can have sex with an 18 year old that's still in high school but a 26 year old teacher can get 20 years for the same thing.

To be fair people complained about the pro bowl being lame back then too.
In the 1990's, players from the winning team took home $10K. The average salary was $350K but most of the Pro Bowl players were making $800K+. I wouldn't risk my career for a measly $10K.
I dated a girl who is on her 2nd marriage, but her twin sister is on her 4th and her mom has been married God knows how many times. I guess it runs in the family.
