He was going to the Jets, the Jets is where top 10 draft picks at QB learn to become door greeters at Walmart...
He specifically said he was told there would be more than 2 QBs in the QB room.

Whether or not he is bullshitiing or not, timelines can change on a whim, so it isn't his fault if he isn't bullshitting.
We lost like all but 2 WR to the portal, draft, or eligibility. Its fairly normal to have 10-15 WRs on roster.
Yea, they were very good, but that is also a team absolutely filled with 22 and 23 yo productive college players.

He was a top 50 player #2 linebacker in the nation and a true freshman last year. He likely will be a star player in the future.

He's the 6'1" 225lb #53 overall, #2 linebacker in the nation that can run a 10.36 100m and 4.43 40yd dash. Dude is a freak athlete that just needs development. He was a true freshman last season.
shite, I wish I worked at ExxonMobil, its the closest plant to my house. But here I am stuck with a great job at Dow, but a 1.5hr commute every afternoon... God I hate Baton Rouge traffic...
A lot of the guys here are blue collar working in the oil and gas field. It would be as if DOW chemical offered you a job, you took that job, and the day before onboarding, ExxonMobil sent you a real offer for 2x the salary DOW is paying/willing to pay you. Not one single person here would turn down that offer from ExxonMobil and show up to Dow tomorrow.

Both are good companies to work for, but if one is offering 2x as much, you take that job.

They have a decent offense and a top 5, maybe top 3, defense. They are a good team.
Uhhhh... I don't think thats how the saying go...
This is actually a pretty important, but not often thought about point.

When a P4 coordinator becomes a G5 head coache and flame out it usually sets their coaching career back for 5-10 years. Oftentimes they end up as a coordinator at a G5 school or position coach at a P4 school. If they are lucky they get picked up by a P4 school as a coordinator.

When they go from P4 Coordinator to P4 head coach and flame out they still often get G4 head coaching jobs or P4 coordinator jobs.

I kindof think that's the thought process. If there's a few fliers left we may grab them. But for the most part use the transfer portal. LSU has had 3 VERY GOOD high school recruiting classes the past 3 years, so we have plenty of young talent, just need some gamewreckers from the transfer portal like we did last year.
Eh, the committee has already shown they are willing to do it to an undefeated FSU. Obviously they aren't Bama, but it's not like FSU is a nobody.
Thats exactly right. If you head coach is an elite play caller on one side of the ball, you dont run the risk of batching a coordinator hire on that side, you just take over play calling until you can replace them. Every good coach misses on coordinators every now and again.
Lane kiffin has shown time and time again he can turn a ham sammich into an all conference QB. That's the lest of my worries. Im more worried about the O-line not sucking next year, which again, lane has been really good at O-line, but is even better about scheming around his weaknesses.
On paper this offense should've been elite...

In reality, poor, sratch that, some of the worst offensive line development ive ever seen, and abysmal play calling made it one of the worst in program history.

Our oline was cover in top 150 players, it should've be altered least serviceable...
Imagine how salty you would be if your ex head coach did this, lol.
Damn chicken... Even you are getting tired of all the world is ending posts?
