Does anybody remember when LSU played Texas A&M when Hallman was coach?
Texas A&M won the toss and elected to defer and kick off. Hallman insisted that the defense was on the field first and wouldn't accecpt the deferment and A&M got the ball to start the game and the 2nd half.
That really happened.

Any mention of the "Eye of the Tiger" makes me crazy. LSU fans seem to think this is a logo or song that belongs to LSU. Every high school team in America whose mascot is the Tigers uses this stupid song and logo every friday night.
It is a stupid reference from a shitty movie written by a shitty band. Please can we get rid of the eye???!!!

Florida stomped the "Eye of the Tiger" because they hated Rocky III and Survivor was a shitty band.

I agree but from a different perspective. LSU football has become a business and a big business at that. The university doesn't really care about those people sitting in the stands as long as games are sold out and the university makes money. The same 4 tickets that cost me $120 dollars a game 15 years ago now cost me $600 a game. There is nothing "bandwagon" about me refusing to give them up. And if i do somebody is waiting in line to snap them up.
We were all there during Hallman and Dinardo and nobody ever brought this up. And that is when the stadium was 3/4 full at kickoff and regular people had 50 yard line seats.
LSU has created these expectations by sticking it to fans the way they have. If leaving early in order to show that we may not be completely satisfied with the product is all we can do, so be it.
