Delete Account Request

I sent an email requesting my account to be deleted. It's been a couple days now and obviously I'm still able to log in. Is the idea to simply not sign in, but they'll hold onto the account forever, Hotel California style?

My mistake and thanks for the correction. Should have said he was the "first to determine that galaxies contain supermassive black holes at their centers, and that such black holes power quasars".

France is beautiful. There's a small village called Montgardon that still has a memorial to the Americans that liberated their village during WW2, just outside of Lay-Haye-Du-Puits. There is plenty of really cool American war history that's appreciated in Normandy to this day. LINK

Most scientists in the world are not propagandists. They are simply limited to the confines of the modern scientific/academic community which operates under methodological and philosophical naturalism. It's sad, really.

I'm not familiar with him, so I'll have to look into it.

Well there is growing social sentiment to this opinion. And it's translating even more at the higher institutional level in regards to funding. Slowly the fascination with origins of the universe and life at the microbiological level is declining, simply because there isn't any money in it in terms of economical advantages. Where funding is being primarily directed is not the past, but the future, lead by the Transhumanist (or Technohumanist) movement surrounding academia.

I am good friends with Collins' disciple who did a PhD in Computational Genetics, and went on to work for the most funded subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. He spoke with Francis almost everyday.
That's a good book, but I prefer "Where the Conflict Really Lies: Science, Religion, and Naturalism".

I went to church several years with Donald Lydenbell-Bell before he died. He was responsible for discovering black holes. We discussed these issues at great length during the fellowship hour. He was a really nice gentleman and kind to my son in answering such questions.

Although his book is somewhat provocative and insightful, my response to him was similar to William Edgar's article that the Petrine Option was the better option.

Haha...possibly for other issues, but in this case it's true.

SH was present at Magdalene College when I gave a lecture on the complex political matters of CofE's connection to State and its many abuses of power.

The global epidemic of road crash fatalities and disabilities is gradually being recognized as a major public health concern. The first step to being informed about global road safety and to developing effective road safety interventions is to have access to facts.
Annual Global Road Crash Statistics:
Approximately 1.35 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,700 people lose their lives every day on the roads
An additional 20-50 million suffer non-fatal injuries, often resulting in long-term disabilities.
More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among vulnerable road users—pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.
Road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death among young people aged 5-29. Young adults aged 15-44 account for more than half of all road deaths.
More than 90% of all road fatalities occur in low- and middle-income countries (because of racist driving), even though these countries have approximately 60% of the world’s vehicles.
On average, road crashes cost countries 3% of their gross domestic product.
Road crashes are the single greatest annual cause of death of healthy U.S. citizens traveling abroad.
Annual United States Road Crash Statistics
More than 38,000 people die every year in crashes on U.S. roadways. The U.S. traffic fatality rate is 12.4 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
An additional 4.4 million are injured seriously enough to require medical attention.
Road crashes are the leading cause of death in the U.S. for people aged 1-54.
The economic and societal impact of road crashes costs U.S. citizens $871 billion.
Road crashes cost the U.S. more than $380 million in direct medical costs.
The U.S. suffers the most road crash deaths of any high-income country, about 50% higher than similar countries in Western Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan.
Pedestrian and bicyclist fatalities continue to rise in the United States. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), more pedestrians and cyclists were killed in 2018 than in any year since 1990.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe we need more testing, ventilators, and Karens to help stop this ongoing global pandemic of the ever highly contagious....automobile.
