You are 100% correct, I was at ground zero of sourcing manufacturing to MANY factories in China. The American manufactures couldn't ship their manufacturing to China fast enough for the cheap labor and substantial reduction in product costs. The only down sides at the time were Chinese companies weren't remotely afraid to give your designs to other companies, use lower quality raw materials (your job was to catch them), garbage final product in most cases and a strike at a port could be very costly

The FBI was so corrupted under the Biden admiration that they "magically" reported a 7% decrease in 2023 Minnesota (Tim Walz State) violent crimes but it a actually a 17% Increase! It was pointed out to the FBI quickly and the stats were never changed
