Long time lurker here. I've noticed there is no real political discussion on this website. Both the politics and OT section have been taken over by politically extreme conspiracy theorists.There is no discussion. The few people who are more independent get downvoted to oblivion every time someone says something worthy of discussion. These forums are filled with people who fuel each other. Many members are just repeating each other and refusing to hear any other information. It's the equivalent of a child covering their ears when you try to discipline them. The opinions that are here appear to be more popular than the actually are in real-life because the same group of people keeping commenting and supporting each other. It's simply promoting ignorance.
