But you know there has been loyal fans and since we have begin to taste the winning ways, It makes it even more sweeter to be with a team that suffered through so much and now to have an even larger fan base is great
"NFL rules require games be blacked out in the home market if they are not sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff. The league, according to the newspaper, had 22 games blacked out last year, a five-year high. Five teams, all of which had losing records, were part of the blackouts last season: Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and the St. Louis Rams.

Tampa Bay is preparing for a possible Week 1 blackout, as team spokesman Jonathan Grella told USA Today that the Buccaneers are “grappling with the attendance issue.”

Since March, Buccaneers officials have mentioned the possibility of blackouts after last season's 3-13 record. The Tampa Tribune notes, “a struggling Florida economy and uneasiness about the team's direction have contributed to the lack of ticket sales.”

The newspaper notes three 2009 playoff teams could face blackouts, including the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers." THANK GOD I HAVE MY SAINTS, I dont think we would ever have to worry about that for New Orleans

Did anyone notice brees limping while walking to take team photos on the field?

The only difference is that was against a 3 4 defense and not a 4 3 defense lets see how often he is able to step up into the pocket against those conditions.

I would love to hear the commentators say New Orleans comes out in the Wild Saint formation.

Well I believe Reggie will come around and tear the NFL up this year. The guy hasnt played alot during the preseason so for him to come out and had a subpar game is understandable but I believe he will make up for it next week.

older and smarter or fast and young

saints kickers

I hope these two kickers will be the answer to our kicking snubs. It seems like kickers come in and do good starting off but fall off the following year.

b]No, the Lions’ victory will have come the week before that, in a Dec. 21 home game against the Saints.

Yes, I realize I’m predicting the Lions to beat a team with a prolific offense; the Saints just put up 51 points against the Packers, moving two games behind the Bucs and Panthers (and a game behind Atlanta) in the competitive NFC South.

But New Orleans, which until Monday hadn’t won consecutive games all season, is maddeningly inconsistent. The Saints’ next three games are against Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Chicago, and they could easily lose twice and be eliminated from playoff contention. Surely, they’d be able to put up points on Detroit, but New Orleans’ defense is lousy enough – dare we say Lionsesque – to keep an 0-14 team desperate to avoid everlasting ignominy in the game.

So mark it down: Detroit will somehow pull out a victory over Drew Brees and company. The only remaining question is whether I’ll be there to witness it.[/b]

This has to be a slap in the face and to think that when the saints are picked to give the lions there first win. To think when the saints won against the packers they spoke more bout rodgers rather than the saints. The saints was the big underdog and beat the brakes out of packers. no respect they dropped a fifty burger on a top five pass rank defense thats wild :banghead: :doublebird: :spank: :spank:
