Or guys wearing Cubs uniforms.

Spring training trips sound great in theory, and I’ve kinda always wanted to do a Florida trip and an Arizona trip.

But my motivation is limited when realizing games are full of limited amounts of regulars and a bunch of Johnny Wholestaff games.
Every game counts. If we’re just going to base seedlings on the last few games, then just play a regular season with 10 games.

This is not an invincible South Carolina team, and LSU lost at home, never leading in the second half. And that game was 2 weeks ago.

LSU is appropriately seeded as a 2.

Yep. Tiger Tracks was the Friday segment during football season where Jim Nasium would fake interview LSU players and coaches with responses being clips of songs. For its day, it was pretty good stuff.
I never have problems with Verizon except in Livingston Parish and at LSU. I had AT&T, and it was 100 times worse than Verizon.

Have also never had a problem with Verizon in the aftermath of a hurricane, and I have with AT&T.

They've won Best Draft award twice in the 9 years since the award started. Don't they know Loomis sucks?

The drafts were great in ‘17 and ‘25. The 7 years of drafts in between mostly sucked.

It’s OK to say he’s sucked and give him credit when he gets one right. And it’s OK to give him credit when he gets one right and to say when he’s sucked.

That’s there to protect the Titans network and their advertisers. If you’re listening to the Saints, then you’re not listening to the Titans and their advertisers can’t reach you.
Terribly written story. The Saints are always butting up against the cap after starting the offseason way over the cap. So I'm guessing the spending may be about actual cash spending? Again, hard to tell with such a poorly written story.
Good summation. Not absolving Woodward because the contract has become a disaster. But it was probably necessary to land McMahon, who actually wasn't a bad candidate. When McMahon was hired, not too many people were saying he had only been successful because of Ja Morant. And he had won a game in two different NCAA tournaments while with Murray State. Pretty good candidate, on paper.

I know people find this hard to believe, but from coaching to hiring, sometimes coaches and administrators make a choice that's good and reasonable that, in hindsight, just doesn't work out.

And I'm not in the camp that he deserves to come back next year. It hasn't worked out here, and won't work out here.
Listened in the car with parents on the way back home from Lafayette. We had spent the weekend at their friends' house.

Listening to tiger bait last night and Mike said he’s hearing scuttlebutt the entire basketball staff would be let go but McMahon would be back.

His reasoning was firing McMahon and his staff , hiring a new coach and staff plus money for NIL would cost around 30 million dollars and LSU isn’t willing to do that.

I don't believe this for a second that the entire staff would be let go but McMahon stays. McMahon either comes back and some of that staff returns or he's fired. This isn't football where you point to an offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator as a major reason why you're not winning.

It's possible assistants jump ship either for a better job or a safe landing spot. Now if they're gonna force him to fire people in an attempt to get him to resign and/or negotiate a lower buyout, then maybe. But clearing out everyone except McMahon doesn't seem realistic.

Too bad you can’t get into baseball. LSU baseball is a blast to watch. College baseball in general is really good to watch for me while football is not going on

Depends on the time of the season and the opponents. Run-rule games and/or games featuring small-school pitchers that can’t throw strikes against powerhouses can make some college baseball games a slog, even in person. I’m a “wake me when the regionals get here” kind of college baseball fan.
The t-shirt cannon that shoots 1 t-shirt.
Combo of the league network not going to bash one of its schools combined with an opposing coach praising the bad coach hoping he stays where’s he at forever.

If you listen to Myers' opening, there is a "chase" reference and other similar plays on words.
Stunned a Tuscaloosa judge would rule against Alabama unless it's what the school wanted.

But if you're a good player, at some point, those guys say "we had to deal with Campbell from New England." If you can't handle any of the top guys in the league, then you're not a top-notch player.
Went to the NCAA tournament 10 seasons in a row from 1984 to ‘93, and 13 of 15 from ‘79 to ‘93, making 2 Final Fours, 2 more Elite Eights and a Sweet 16. LSU was a top-tier national program for most of that stretch.

Made another Sweet 16 trip in ‘00, another FF trip in ‘06, and a Sweet 16 in ‘19 even in what’s been mostly a down 30 years plus. So this place can be more that the shite Brady, Johnson, Jones and McMahon put on the floor for most of that stretch.

Every coach but McMahon has made the tournament even if most of their tenures were shite. Even Johnson won an SEC title and an NCAA tournament game, and Jones made an NCAA tournament. So what McMahon has done is indefensible and inexcusable.

No, especially not about those 2 teams.
