The WLAC/BRUN warrants have two expiration dates - November '26 (unlikely now with the merger vote taking place) where if the vote is no then the price of WLACW craters. If the vote is proceed with the merger then this year's expiry is reset to October 2031.

Let's say the merger is approved April 30th then the ticker goes from WLAC ? BRUN and same with the warrants. Let's go with the merger succeeds.

Igoringa mentioned that "if the stock price is above 18 bucks, they can be redeemed for nothing". This leaves out a lot of details. Let's say the stock hits $18.25 on May 3rd, but closes at $17.80 then nothing happens and no starting trigger is set. If the stock closes above $17.99 for the first time at $18.01 on May 5th, that starts the trigger where 19 of the next 29 trading days the stock needs to close at $18 or above, so that the company would need to send a 30 day announcement or notice of redemption about the warrants for a penny.

You would actually have 30 days after this notice to clean up your account and sell the warrants on the open market or exercise them for shares. This scenario would mean early July. There is a two day window on the front end where you can't convert into shares, but you can buy/sell warrants.

If you ignore the redemption notice and do nothing to trade or convert those warrants, then at the end of 30 days, early July under this provided scenario, your warrants would be closed out and you would receive 1¢ for each warrant that you had.

The stock closing at $18 or above for one day does not mean the warrants are exercised for a penny each.

Big money is looking for some movement in WLAC ? BRUN. Earlier this week someone spent over $2 million on the WLAC August 22.50 calls when the stock was trading $12.83-$12.90. The OI on that line is now over 16k with that one person's trades representing 60% of the open interest.

After the merger vote goes through, the next catalyst would be the Super 8-K which would be filed on on May 5 or 6 and it would provide a peek under the covers to see what kind of real business Boost Run has.
Supah,

Please remember the buyout of 1.25 equates to 2 million. It's genius. Michigan couldn't pay LSU the buyout fee directly.

Since it is written that Les would have to pay LSU personally, then his agent would ask for an extra $2,000,000 from Michigan. Why? Because whatever Big Blue would compensate LES is a taxable event.

He would need to get $2 million to cover the taxes and the buyout fee PLUS his annual salary. We aren't even talking about the state taxes. Do you really think they would pay Les $2 million PLUS whatever the negotiated first year salary was. We are talking about $5 million. Not likely.

Saban still has a house in Baton Rouge?
I get that there are deep pockets at Michigan. A fellow Wolverine said that Big Blue generates x millions with athletics and surpasses LSU by at least 10 million.

With that said, why was Coach Carr paid so little compared to the coaches in the SEC and not all of them have won a National Championship like Carr and none of them come close to the revenue Big Blue generates?

Les Miles says "I'm at home"

Posted by waverly911 on 12/1/07 at 7:54 pm
Plain and simple. Said he asked his mentor Bo about the LSU job and Bo said that's a great place. Cholly Mac loves that place, loved that place. Les said "I'm at home now."

Cue the music LINK
How could he leave this?

re: Les Said NOTHING !!!!!!!!!

Miles is super media savvy. He didn't reference Michigan because maybe one day he does go there.

Les Miles doesn't have time to get into details at a press conference. He basically called it to say get the F off my back. When he said have a nice day, he was telling those that started the rumor to go F themselves.

Let'er RIP.
Of course H-Street checks it out. Who doesn't?!

ESPN Herbstreit's source disclosed

CBS is rubbing it in Kirk Herbstreit's face about him "breaking the news" that Les Miles was leaving.

CBS also disclosed that Herbstrit's source was tigerdroppings.com

Time to cue the music. Let's go LINK
What channel is this new conference going to be on?

If he is staying, then I say let's start playing the music now

I am lost. What are you guys talking about now?
Sure!

Why would he leave this LINK
How is Skip Cheap? Miles was compensated more than Lloyd Carr was this past season and Carr has won a national championship.

Aged Wolverine,

One thing you and many others don't realize about his buy out is that Les has to write the check himself. Michigan can't pay it for him.

Let's say that Michigan pays less the 1.25 million, well it is a taxable event and Les is in the hole. To be made WHOLE, Michigan would have to pay LES roughly $2,000,000 to cover the $1,250,000 plus the IRS taxes and we are not taking state taxes into account.

If there is so much money, why did they only pay Carr less than $1.3 million and this guy won a championship for ya?

I believe that he was not in contact with Michigan, but HIS AGENT WAS. The media should have asked if his agent was in touch with Michigan.

SKIP needs to tell Miles to get his check book out and write the check and we are not accepting it from MICHIGAN. That is not part of the deal.

Jeeze.

Michigan, thanks for waiting till after the game to speak with the hat.

I blame Miles for this too. Why not wait till after the game to talk to them? The job was not going to go away.

Who coaches LSU in the bowl game? What if we get everything to go our way and LSU goes to the BCS game? Who coaches LSU then?
We have not been able to hold onto a good coach since the days of Cholly Mac. And look how long has that been.

For now I will have to console myself with a video
