re: A&M's linebacker Captain carted off field

Sucks for them. But Aidan anding just tore his Achilles in practice. Injuries happen anytime.
I think Kiffin said in one of his recent press conferences that getting rid of the spring game was more to do with broadcasting plays to the world and showing talent that other teams can tamper with. Sec network was playing these spring games on repeat all day, it was just too much unnecessary exposure.

And the chain wearing is not just baseball players.
Every male under 25 at my gym you can count having broccoli hair or ‘Jew fro’, a gold chain, and dirty white sneakers with white crew socks.

re: As successful as he has been, the glaring central figure of the demise is Jay Johnson.

I think the frustration is being amplified because of the fact that
A. Football and basketball shite the bed this year so fans were already hungry and banking on a winning product to be put on the field.
B. The opponent we lost to and how we did it. Sucks for Jay, cause it’s a completely different sport, but getting swept, and blown out, including a mercy rule, to a rival that is foaming at the mouth to talk shite, doesn’t help.
JJ missed on the transfer portal with hitters, he did not forget to coach. He had a lot to replace. Last year he hit on Dickinson and Hernandez. In 2025 he hit on Tommy white. It is what it is. He has to keep coaching and at least try to turn it around, but I think he realizes this class was a dud. He will have to pivot with quickness after this year and purge some of this roster.
Also, I don’t think yeskie is some savior of a pitching coach. Kade and Eyanson were pretty much developed and turnkey. I’ve yet to really see him take a raw product and teach them how to command and locate pitches.

I think it’s just as simple as he missed on transfer portal. I know that’s not what anyone wants to hear but this transfer class was a complete dud. I don’t think he forgot to coach in a year

My wife always said she has a large mouth. I can see it but nothing wrong with that :pimp:
I always thought she was good looking. Homely brown eyed brunettes are my type.

How do bars count viewers? Is it each screen? 60" TVs cost $90 now. These bars have 30 of them on the wall showing NFL games
Plus the amount of people buying new phones, iPads and streaming it on those from anywhere. It would make sense that viewership goes up each year.

Did the music create the culture or did the culture create the music?
To SoFla’s point, black music wasn’t always that way. You had blues, jazz artists, Fatz, Motown. Actual singing, instruments, talent.
Seems like the minute it became just beats and rhymes, anyone with a mic could spew anything. Started out okay in the late 80s-90s, but after that black culture went downhill quick.

Think about his contributions to the world, without him we wouldn't have mumble rappers.
It’s not the music that I hate (the mumble rap I can’t stand); it’s the culture it created that comes with it.

quote:Coworkers hanging out? a friends group trip? Sure, most normal people can handle that.
It's absolutely possible to be good friends with the opposite sex and not cheat.
Idk..I say this as a married man, being in a close platonic friendship (what I assume you’re calling “good friends”) with a woman has little to offer me. I have female acquaintances and co-workers I spend a lot of the day with. I wouldn’t consider them someone I’d pick up the phone and have a deep conversation with. Or go fishing or watch a football game with instead of my wife or guy friends. If they were decently attractive and heterosexual, it would be playing with fire, and adding something unnecessary to our relationship.
And if I were single, and the woman was decently attractive, there would probably be a point where we got close enough and I would make a move, as would most hetero males.
My wife claims she had guy friends in HS and college where it was strictly platonic. Idk…Maybe for her, but I’m tempted to call bs on behalf of the guy. Seems like he was either a. Gay or b. Scared to make a move on her. My wife is interesting to me, but most women don’t have enough in common with the average hetero male for them to want to hang out with 24/7.

My theory is people that grew up with cats just don’t smell it anymore.
Their furniture is torn up. One of the cats is overweight, misses the litter box and pisses on the wall. Those cats in particular are disgusting and dumb as shite.. also terrified of other people and hide when company is over. I don’t understand owning something like that.
Dogs at least understand commands, fetch, guard a house/alert you while sleeping, and piss and shite outside.
I know good cats probably exists but I haven’t come across many.

quote:Absolutely we would be better off in the long run. Wouldn’t have to fund welfare, Medicaid and disability could actually be used by the people who need it.
Would it be cheaper/better for the US if we gave everyone who was ok with this $250k and a one way ticket from the US if they revoked their citizenship?
Give them the reparations they’ve been seeking for so long, but if they accept, they have to leave the country and forfeit citizenship.
Wonderful idea but it would never happen unfortunately. The dependent/entitlement mindset is already too deeply ingrained.

Leadership - when an innocent college kid can’t stop at a railroad crossing without getting murdered cold blood, and the mayor makes no effort to find her killer, you have a big problem.
Demographics - not much else to say. One demographic responsible for 99% of BR’s problems
Downtown Accomodations - you have people coming in/out of downtown all weekend for conferences, events at the river center, etc., and only a handful of restaurants open on the weekends. Last time I visited downtown on a Sunday, nothing was open. It looked like a ghost town.

Majority of my tshirts come from breweries, restaurants, and gift shops from out of town trips.
I can either pay $30-40 for a cool, unique shirt that probably nobody in my home town is walking around wearing,
or I can pay $30-40 for tshirt from Academy or some other clothing store that multiple people are walking around wearing.
I don’t take a bunch of pics for social media on trips, so other than memories, it’s nice to have something to remember.

He will be a good one. It wouldn't surprise me if he works his way into the rotation year 1, even with all the incoming transfers. Just seems built different the way he moves and has that dog mentality.
