re: DIY Termite Treatment

It turns out i may have misunderstood the guy the first time and its just a practice that my exterminator goes by because theres been research that shows the bait station/trench combo may not be as effective as just having either/or. i misunderstood him to say that the chemicals cancel each other out, but thats not right. the bait stations rely on the termites bringing the bait back to the colony and the trench can kill them on contact so they cant bring the bait into the colony.

the exterminator, they've been the ones who I've been contracted under for 7 years now. i didnt look into it any further, but maybe i'll call and get more clarification.

baiting system to go forward.

i know this is an old thread, but i thought this info might be useful.

I just had my contract renewed and they did bait stations. i had the trench and bait station combo before, but apparently they changed the regulations and the two can not be combined because the chemicals cancel each other out. all that to say, pick one option and go with that. i went with bait stations because i don't want them spraying inside my house

sounds like it s a racket to keep collecting inspection fees every "x" amount of years.

I'm not keen to the facts, but is this some classification of a fortified roof that is supposed to be somehow better than the already fortified roof?
Most likely drunk, their parade is a huge block party that starts in the early morning and goes into the next day. I went one year and had a blast. Lots of friendly Lao giving out Heinekens and tons of food. First time drinking Heineken and first time eating pho.
