I just finished ACCT 701 with Dr. Kahn. The class included a weekly practice exam (you have 3 attempts to earn a score of 80% or better), then a regular weekly exam and a Final exam the last week. You are allowed 1 page of notes for each exam. There were also a couple of extra credit opportunities.
I don't have an accounting background, but I was able to get an 'A' in the class pretty easily. The lectures and practice exams were great preparation for the text. It wasn't an extreme amount of work, but I still learned a lot.
