We did this for years but when my wife was pregnant with kid no. 2 i shut that shite down. They are welcome to come to us for both Thanksgiving and/or Christmas but we don't travel. We do go see them numerous times a year but holidays are for our kids to be home.
edit: my mom didn't take it well at first but as the years have gone by, its all good now. The magic is for the children not for grown adults to go hours upon hours out of their way with their little kiddos just to see your parents and keep them happy.

Most of y’all are being delusional. Kiffin is not going to be LSU’s version of Saban. He hasn’t suddenly transformed since his Tennessee days, he’s still the same guy. He’s brilliant, but he’s also selfish, unpredictable, and hard to pin down. And let’s be honest; LSU’s fan base is the same way. So sure, the match works right now, but let’s not act like this won’t eventually end badly, because it will.
And that’s fine. Saban won a natty in Year 3. Les won one in Year 3. Coach O won his in Year 3. And Brian Kelly almost pulled it off in Year 3 with Jayden—he just couldn’t field a defense.

All contracts require an escrow account that must be 100% funded within five years specifically to cover equipment disposal cost. Developers are also required by law to complete existing conditions geotechnical soils reports to prove the land is back to pre-solar conditions, post contract. So it can go back to farming after the 30yr contract but will it, probably not.
