That statement is incorrect.

Looking at the data the confidence intervals for female and male both overlap so there’s no way to say that as a truth. It may be true but there sample size is lacking to make a definitive claim

The Link's Awakening remake was cartoonish at best vs. the original. Wouldn't expect this to be all that different. But I can see how people would be suckered into buying this

IMO it cheapens the title. Instead of IU vs UGA or a top 4 teams you have a situation where the national champion may have lost to SMU and Louisville. Similar to the NCAAT the more games the best teams have to play the more chances they are knocked off by a lower seed.

Is that a reflection of that team not being a championship caliber team or more a reflection of the flukiness that can happen with increased time off and rematches, etc?

I just wish ATM would have beaten TX. We would have been the 5th seed, played a home tune up game vs JMU, then would’ve dog walked Texas Tech.

It’s all so fluky now like the difference between winning and losing last night was not that much. But we were the SEC Champs, which ultimately meant nothing. The format is flawed and needs an overhaul. As it stands in my mind the SECCG has screwed us two years in a row

My issue with it is the whole conference champions bring added value approach they leaned on a few years back.

We won the sec and our reward for it was no movement in the poll at all. It’s like they changed their metric to now favor the eye test.
