I’m not saying this because of the lane situation. if Deboer, Stark, drink, were in the same situation as lane I wouldn’t want them to come to Ole Miss. I would want to find a coach that is like a diamond in the rough. Maybe I’m too old school but I’d like to find a G5 coach and have him move up the coaching ladder and when he wins an sec championship or natty I’d have a sense of pride like yep we found him at Youngstown college when no one took a chance on him.

LSU is a dumpster fire right now and with the governor calling the shots I’d be skeptical going there if I was a coach.

I’ll tell you why. He is milking ole Miss/florida/LSU/Giants for everything they’ve got. Delaying signing creates desperation among the teams and theyll give him everything he wants. It’s really a genius move by sexton. He is a lucky man to be in that situation almost like catching your boss cheating on his wife.

Doesn’t have any other options than Lane? It’s like they can’t think outside the box and find a coach just as good as Lane. I have seen LSU make legitimate reasonable options for HC positions but Florida is going all in on Lane. That’s fine if you get him but you’ll be scrambling to find a coach in late December.
