re: Tim Kennedy finally getting his comeuppance

It’s easy to focus on the handful of SOF operators who have let the pursuit of money and fame make them act like fools, but that narrative ignores reality.
There are literally thousands of SEALs, Green Berets, PJs, and others who served during the GWOT with quiet professionalism and integrity. In any organization, you’ll find a few bad actors, but they are an incredibly small percentage of this community.
The vast majority of SOF guys I’ve met and worked with are among the finest men America has to offer. Humble, capable, and dedicated to something bigger than themselves.
Painting with a broad brush and calling them all high school girls is dumb and unfair.

Clearly I made a mistake by posting.
I tried to bring first hand knowledge to the thread in order to inform others. I know what I’m talking about here. My evidence is my experience and expertise. Choose to trust me or not. I’m not going to dox myself.
I thought my posts were pretty measured and reasonable. But because I rarely post on the board it’s invalid. You can choose to continue to believe what you want to.

Who knows what happened to those guys. But to swallow the gov narrative without question is foolish IMHO. But as far as opinions go, you’re certainly entitled to yours…
I have plenty of questions. The entire community has questions. I’m not “swallowing the govt narrative” here. I have an informed opinion. Something most posters do not have on this issue. That’s why I am aggravated. Dudes without actual knowledge of the situation just posting ridiculous shite that’s disrespectful to fallen teammates.
I don’t post, sorry.
Tell me what proof you want. What exactly are you calling bullshite on?

It does add up. These boardings have been going on for years. The ones that go off without a hitch don’t get reported on.
As to why they went after this particular dhow during rough seas, I don’t know maybe bad intel. Unfortunately that happens. Inexcusable bad intel? Yea the friends, teammates, and families will probably think that for the rest of their lives.
Helicopter or surface vessel sink the dhow? Just summarily execute the 14 onboard without knowing if they were actually transporting weapons or if the entire crew was in on it? That’s illegal.
Boarding procedures are among the sketchiest activities frogmen do.
I’ve been there. It’s hard. It’s dangerous. Tragedies like this happen.
People on this website have watched too many movies or played too many video games. Not everything is a coverup or a conspiracy.
It does add up.

You are disrespecting the fallen sailors by posting this bullshite.
No one was left behind. The Team and the Navy stayed in the immediate area and then searched an additional 21,000 square miles for 10 days.
The fact of the matter is they probably sank. Each man had at least 30 lbs of gear, most likely closer to 50. In rough seas, even a world class swimmer would be behind the eight ball. Especially if one was trying to save a sinking teammate.
You should really think twice about spouting off baseless theories about dead servicemen on message boards. You know nothing about this op. I do. I also know those guys had wives. I know one of them had a daughter. Respect them.
