We lost today. Against a great team who threw their best guys. A game in which we should have won. Margin for error in games like this is minimal. If Morgan gets a better read on the PB and scores that run....LSU wins this game. Now the closer spot definitely has to be figured out bc that bullshite isnt going to fly. Fix that soon and we are just fine. #1 team in the country.

I picked Houston in my bracket, and I think they have a good chance but if the dirtbags play to their ability I think they are the best team in the league. Hopefully they have an off day which is definitely possible with the style of game they play. LFG Cougers!!!

I agree with almost everything you said, except I want to see Floyd have another shot on Saturday night. I think the kid can become a solid pitcher for us. He was off this past weekend, struggled to locate his fastball which he normally doesn't do. Lets see what he can do this weekend and then make a change if necessary. As far as Hurd, I think he is a SEC caliber starter, he just needs a little more time to regain his confidence and get into a groove. I also like Shores but only after Floyd gets another chance to prove his worth as a starter. Just my opinion
TBH I would probably give Bama the best odds to win it. I'm hoping they don't. Don't want to see Bama win at anything, but especially with this douchebag coach they have.

Floyd was off this weekend. He can normally locate his fastball well. I think he is going to bounce back and have a big game this Saturday against the hogs. I look for Floyd to become a serviceable Saturday Starter in the SEC. Same with Hurd also, and he prob has more upside. If we dont see improvement this coming weekend then maybe make some small changes.

Stfu! Wade inherited a losing program at the bottom of the conference, and turned it around in a year. He established a culture around mens bball and brought energy and life back to the program. This is fact. Wade is a winner and he will succeed somewhere else in the near future. The guy has passion and fire.

He has made some good hires but damn he broke it off in us with this bullshite. He should have at least stuck with Wade until sanctions were dealt. Possible we would have had an elite 8 or better caliber team this year….but instead we are a mediocre cake walk for even the worst SEC teams.

Wtf are you talking about. Youre a fckin idiot. I never stated anything about Woodward making home runs hires etc. I think he hired McMahon with the intentions it being a good hire. He could turn out to be, but I don't see it so far. I think Woodward folding under the pressure from the NCAA and Media and I think it fckin sucks for LSU basketball....that's all I said. But if you don't think there are any coaches out there that could do better than this then please stop talking, youre oblivious and know nothing about college basketball.

Make sure to thank Dickie V and Pat Forde, along with little Scotty for this shite show we are having to endure this season.
Secondly, I keep hearing that CMM inherited a terrible situation etc....which yes that is true. But CMM did a great job at making the best of that terrible situation. He actually brought in some decent players and I think he deserves credit for that. With that said, he has underperformed with the players that he has on the roster and its not acceptable. He gets another year, but if we don't see progress next season....Can him!!!

Have a feeling this BBall team is going to have a similar path as our football team this year. Started slow, a lot of new players learning each other, plus a whole new system for most of them. By SEC play this team will be a top 5-6 SEC team.

So pretty much improvement around the board lol. I agree and I think we will see some big improvements. This team has potential to be solid if a lot of these question marks are answered. We will see. 9-3 is my pick.

Yes Eugene, my bad got mixed up with 2018 regional there. And yes I totally agree and Im still supportive of him and think/hope he is going to do big things here. Just wasn’t super impressed with a few things this year, which could definitely be due to the players and not the coach. But I was also impressed in the way he managed the staff for most of the season. Im still fir the guy.
Okay hot shot. Tell me what you grade him at and explain why since my C- grade seems to blow your little mind. I think he did a good job managing the staff for the most part, and I still think he will will be successful here and I like the guy, so Im not hating on him or calling for his head. But our staff just blew a regional that we should have won, which there were some questionable moves on the mound during the last game. But besides that he did an overall good job during the season. My concern is….as y’all say “we didn’t have any starting pitchers” but we had relatively talented arms/highly recruited pitchers compared to most pitching staffs. And we also seen little progression throughout the year, and wasn’t able to develop a starter. This includes some pitchers that were good to enough to help solidify a regional win in Corvallis last year but contributed zero this year. Also includes some talented freshman arms but according to some “freshman cant develop in year one”. Go tell that to Tennessee.

All I keep hearing is we didnt have any SEC caliber starters, which is true. But the question is why didnt we? We had plenty of guys on staff that were highly recruited/talented pitchers coming out of Hs. Yet none have worked out as starters and many have not even contributed all year and some have regressed. Im not saying it JK’s fault and it may not have anything to do with him but all Im saying is it’s something worth paying attention to. I actually think Kelly is a good coach and is going to work out just fine. He may have to get his guys in but I still feel good about him.

Southern Miss has 3-4 quality arms that would start for us, if not more. But it isn’t because they recruited more talented guys, they have just developed their guys. The pitching coach over there has done a phenomenal job. We obviously haven’t developed our guys. Out of all the highly recruited guys we have on staff there are at least a few that are capable of being quality starters. Maybe this is more on Allen Dunn, maybe we just missed on a lot of these guys and they were over valued. Possibly some are lazy and haven’t been putting in the effort to develop, maybe they haven’t responded to JK well. Idk the frickin answer but your a dumbass if you cant see that my question is valid. Not shitting on our pitching coach, just curious why none of our talent has panned out like expected.

Yea dip shite some sort of development after 1 year. Like taking guys who already had successful outings in SEC play last year and improving them. Instead all 3 of them took steps backwards and become bench warmers. May not be because of Kelly but Im not sure….thats why Im asking the question lil man.

What would you grade JK on this past season? I give him a C-…..wasn't exactly impressed. But Its hard to judge from 1 year plus LSU’s pitching staff was below par from the start. The thing that I question is the development of players. We had several talented freshman come in last year and 1 barely seen the field and other 2 underperformed(Lansville, Dutton,Taylor). Plus several sophomores that showed potential and had successful outings last year and they all 3 regressed and barely saw the field this year(Edwards, Helmers, Fowler). May not have everything to do with Kelly and he may be just fine so we will see.
Oh and before I hear all the bitching and moaning…..Im not calling for his head and I still have hope in this staff, just asking for opinions.
